Everyone's latest acquisitions!

So this BRICK arrived... Not sure how I feel about it yet. This was more of an experimental purchase.

Should I keep it?
Reminds me of my McNees...indestructible.

That‘s not a brick….that’s a piece of art! I have a gallery full of them and carry one every day. They are, in fact, basically indestructible and beautiful examples in the industrial design genre. 😁

Just got my Lortab Victorinox Princess in! I just discovered that this is a rare 58mm known as a Princess, and not an Escort, as it has a nail-cleaner tip instead of the screwdriver. 58mms are cool. I have a Pharmacist, Rambler, Emergency Escort, and Mini Champ coming to me as well, so the 58mm collection will be pretty rounded out, with a nice selection of scales for swappin, and different tools (though I guess the Mini Champ kind of does it all, huh?). Going to need to give this one some TLC jsut a little bit, but it's overall in quite good shape, nothing a little flitz, light BKF and oil will not fix.

Really glad this came in white, because my favorite SAK motif is white, and the green is nice as well, but the thing is, the cross-side scale is pure white, but the logo side is a faded cream-color, I learned that this is wear/light exposure, as I originally asked someone where they had got their "cream" SAK and they pretty much said "By buying a white and carrying it for 20 years!"

Is there any way to return the color back to cellidor? If not, that is okay. 20220810_145432.jpg20220810_145242.jpg

Well, I wanted to check out some Magnacut, I got a Hogue Deka Wharncliffe and it’s smaller and lighter than expected and the compound grind hasn't interfered with cutting so far. The action is a little stiff and the pocket clip is shorter than I’m used to and looking at it, it's like a upgraded version of the KaBar Dozier with a thinner blade stock (equal to an Opinel and my MT Exocet), smaller but looser tension pocket clip, and virtually equal handle thickness. Pic #3 is Deka placed on top of the Kabar and you can just make out the corners.
