Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Speaking of the new Vics... while I still have some special 58mms coming, got some great ones today!
Huntsman, Climber, and Super Tinker, plus this boxcutter while I wait for my Christy, as it's cheap, locking, ergonomic and thumb-stud activated...

But I think the two real gems of this collection are the emergency blade Lilly SD Classic, and the Grafter with the double-sided clip-point with a choil, which I plan to put on one of my Dream-91s with the D-fly blade. Also have a Wharncliffe Floral knife like this coming, but a rare version where the wharncliffe is somewhat double-edged like this.

One thing I think always must be considered before folks crack down too hard on Pfizer, is the fact that.... death via overdose was always a thing for CNS depressants done in excess, it happened hundreds of years ago with morphine, happened with heroin and the newer alternatives, and now it happens, with many times the frequency, with fentanyl, misrepresented as Oxy, usually. Banning has the effect it usually has - a negative one. Had one friend want to try one Oxycodone - he did not know enough to know this is not the early 2000s anymore and they are not real on the street. He died his first usage. This awful black market leads me to kind of "Robin-Hood" Pfizer, and say "Hey, give the people a legal, more pure product with verified dosages, they're doing it anyways, why not defund criminals and save lives?". Switzerland-style, but more permissive with it. Because I wasn't ready to be done until I was done, and it was by the grace of God, or some such thing, that I didn't get anything bad/worse that would have really put me down. Now, though, I'm a contributing member of society. I had to survive to be that, though.

Miracle here too, I believe I have the nine lives of a cat and I have already given up most so I'd better be careful. But I recall that you were a fellow person doing better in that regard, glad you're still well :)

BTW - Scale modding is the easiest part of SAK modding. I understand you can pry them off, super-glue them on, bing-bang-boom. I've been saying how I got a ton of SAKs over the last couple days, this is so I can learn how to cleanly swap scales, to give myself, relatives and other people the ideal scale/toolset combo. But the other parts of SAK modding.... having a drill-press is a high barrier to entry. That's why I'm looking to hire someone to whip me up something crazy!
I'm glad you're doing good too man and I understand what you're saying. I never quite thought about it like that, but I get what you mean. Well I suppose we should get back to knives for the benefit of the others. We can talk about it another time.

Ok cool, sounds like they're pretty easy to swap. I've seen some nice micarta scales that I'll try once I get this one all straightened out. Thanks.

A work in progress, but this is my latest acquisition. A custom Pioneer X collaboration with WValtakis WValtakis and Spikediesel Spikediesel

WValtakis WValtakis engraved the brass covers.
Spikediesel Spikediesel made the covers and will be installing them on the SAK.

I can’t wait!!!

Zero Tolerance 0770CF in S35VN, as a nice upgrade over my Kershaw Dividend compound steel flipper (which was an upgrade over my RJ Tactical Flipper before that). The assist is quite strong, and with the wrong grip I wonder if it could flip out of a person's hand. I hear these are quite nice after removing the assist's torsion bar, as a manual flipper, but I'm not sure that is necessary.

^^ the 0770CF is NOT great with the bar removed. It sucks, actually. Many reviews out there where they’ve removed the bar and ended up putting it back in. I tried it first day I got it and quickly returned it back to assisted. A shame as it’s a great knife and I really can’t stand SpeedSafe. But enjoy if that’s your thing! :)
