I'm not sure if this new Opinel No. 15 Slim is a fruit knife, fillet knife, or a pocket rapier, but it is very slicey with its thin (0.07") stainless steel, 6" blade. One of these days, I will embrace the madness and get an Opinel No. 13.

While the blades certainly look similar, Roselli blades (and axe heads) are forged in-house at their factory in Harmoinen. Metalli blanks are made in Kauhava. I have a few knives that use Metalli blades as well (Kellam, Terava, etc). You can also order blanks from Roselli and build one up, just like with Metalli.

The belt pouch is really nice. I’ll never belt carry it, but have yet to decide if it will be satisfactory for pocket carry.

Fresh out of the box although have had it for a few days and was so busy I wanted to wait and enjoy the moment when I opened the box lol. This one exceeded my expectations and absolutely beautiful Box Elder and Ladder Damascus on this small 31
