Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Got this K3 at Bladeshow West Friday morning. First Reate, aside from the Reate made knives I also own. Chaves and Todd Begg. Very impressive knife.

Cold steel kudu light. Purchased 3 of them. I like it a lot. Light durable can reach the bottom of a peanut butter jar. Cuts up a steak as well as zip ties and rubber insulation. Easy to sharpen and has stainless properties All around good basic utility knife. Carry one one my person one in my BOB and another in my wife's car trunk.

Welcome Zach...a very good beginning in choice of knife.
Sit back, grab your credit card and enjoy the ride.
I hope you don't have an addictive personality. Everyone will help you grow your collection with knowledge and experience.
I'll stop there.

Not just yet. Sorry. They're in stock over at The Knife Connection.
I see. Thanks. Through the knife builder at TKC I ended up with $201 (3D micarta handle and kydex sheath). Is it a good buy? How is TOPS heat treat of 3v, as compared to others like Bradford and CPK?

This is my second PMP Alpha Smilodon. The first went straight back because the fit and finish was subpar (multiple scratches on the handle from the factory; the matte/flamed finish might be the culprit), but I loved the size, ergos, construction, and value proposition so I replaced it with the PJ version.

Ti/Ti, M390, internal milling, detent ramp, ball clip, chamfering everywhere it should be, killer milling pattern -- this guy has the features of a $400 Reate, and its $270 (less depending where you look). Light detent and heavy blade = you gotta mean it when you hit the flipper tab, but that's not the end of the world. It's a big, unapologetic half-pound beast. :)

I just picked one of these up. Wondering what your thoughts were on the pocket clip with the ceramic ball bearing. I had a heretic with a similar style clip and wasn’t a huge fan. Does it make putting the knife into/ taking out of pocket difficult?
