I've been on the prowl for the "right" integral for several years now, and the WE Synergy 2 was so close to being exactly what I was after. Then the Synergy 2v2 came along and addressed everything about the Synergy 2 that had me on the fence.

The doppler milling is incredible; it looks like ripples in a pond, a design that puts the branded pivot and the clip into context and makes them part of the overall aesthetic. The clip has always looked to me like it's capturing that moment just after you've dropped a rock into a pond, before the water has rushed back in and created any ripples. In person it's much less doofy than it looks in product pics. ;)

One of your compatriots, a Mr Michael Morris, was at a UK knife show yesterday, not far from my home. I was very happy to pick up two friction folders from him.

My poor pictures do not do them justice at all. They are truly lovely in real life. I would happily buy more if given the chance. :)

Please excuse camera flare on the top knife handle

I've been wanting to get a Fallkniven knife for a while, but a recent sale made it happen a lot sooner than expected. The Fallkniven F1 with a VG10 blade a hair under 4" is smaller than what I'd normally want for this type of knife, but it just feels right in the hand. It's well balanced and just floats in the hand as you move it around. It's very light and feels smaller than it is, without feeling like less of a knife.

The convex grind gives you a lot better slicer than you'd expect from a knife this thick. The slightly protruding tang hammer at the end of the handle is rounded and is less noticeable in the hand than on a lot of other knives. If I was going to put a lanyard on a knife this size, I'd prefer the hole to be a little further back, but it's probably not a knife I'd add a lanyard to. This Peter Hjortberger design is only a hair lighter than my Benchmade Leuko, but there's little doubt I'd prefer to carry the F1 and not just because it still has that shiny new knife smell, but it definitely still has that shiny new knife smell.

Their are videos explaining the placement of the lanyard hole.
Put a loop of cord through the hole then hold your hand out as to shake hands and hang the knife on your thumb, palm side with the blade facing you.
The idea is when you are working with the knife and need both hands you just release your grip, the knife hangs on your thumb and you have the hand free. When you need the knife just drop your arm and the knife fall into your hand ready to use.
Cool.

Isn't it beautiful? I have really enjoyed mine as I'm sure you'll be delighted with yours. Slicing phone book paper with virtually no sound is a trip!
Couldn’t agree more definitely my sharpest knife to date! Really enjoying it too and love the action and the clicks. It’s like the Rolex of knives 😁

EBAE8B67-8839-4171-AB31-D089479D5C96.jpegThanks to ferider for my latest! I thought I was happy finding my Slysz Bowie and Paysan, but coming into this K2 is a whole new level of excitement! It's virtually pristine, but I'll give it my standard Wicked Edge treatment, Ren wax, etc., then display it prominently. As large as it seems by the numbers, it slips in my front pocket easily and carries comfortably.

What do you think?
It's all it's cracked up to be and more. The fit and finish is pretty much perfect, it's very comfortable in the hand, and the blade is fantastically thin behind the edge. I really like the fact that he sort of based the design on his fixed blade Shark. Folders that are fashioned after fixed blades tend to be great. The knife came screaming sharp but I haven't had a chance to use it a lot yet. Will report back!

Managed to score this Hinderer Eklipse on DLTs last drop. They went fast and a few got snagged out of my cart when I was trying To check out but managed to get this Beauty and I’m very happy with it . Now I know why they sell out so fast 👍🏻👊🏻
Getting ready to flip the clip for tomorrows carry .

Thanks for the explanation. That lanyard hole did strike me as odd, when so many other things on the knife were so well executed.

What do you think of it my friend? I've been having a hankering to try one of their slipjoints lately.
At $49 it is ok. Blade is centered and opens smoothly with no play or half stop. There are two minor gaps you have to look for by spine and wood. This will develop a patina because I chose a carbon blade. My other two, that are stag, have a better overall finish.
I was forewarned the newer Lambs can suffer from QC.
