My first Spyderco ever. This is quite a substantial little piece of hardware. Action is very smooth, feels good in the hand, and it certainly is hair-popping sharp right out of the box. Got a few boxes that need destroying, so we’ll soon see how it likes eating cardboard.

CJRB Pyrite button lock, Knife Center version with Ti Bolsters and Black Micarta scales, and milled Ti pocket clip. It's a little bigger than a Mini Griptilian, and about the size of a Buck Sprint Pro 841. It feels pretty good in the hand, smooth action flicks open with thumb or index finger, and sharp. Same AR-RPM9 stainless steel.

The BladeHQ full fat carbon/Ti S35VN version of this CJRB Pyrite button lock is $199. Yikes.
I’d spend the same $199 on the Buck instead every time. But at $75 this Ti/micarta version of the CJRB is a steal, and feels like a more expensive knife.
But my $139 Xmas sale-price WE Kitefin in full Ti frame lock and S35VN seems like it could be a better knife to me than the CJRB with CF scales and S35VN steel. For $25 more a person could buy a Protech Malibu vs the BladeHQ edition.
