Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I have a Joe Diesel coming in. @Quiet made me do it. .... :)

I love the anno work on that one, I was definitely eyeing it. I love that Joe has multiple knife deployment designs in his portfolio. Mine has a thumb disk, yours is a flipper, and he also was selling one with a thumbstud. He definitely is a fan of variety as well, can't beat it.

Agree with you. I received the knive yesterday, and just ordered a "backup" (different blade shape is intentional). You guys don't know what you are missing, the knife is beautifully made .... ! :) Photo of the backup from Joe:

Only 4 in, but over a dozen on order. Can't add pictures without using some BS picture service which I refuse to use so...

1. Microtech Exocet Apocalypse
2. Zero Tolerance ZT0770CF
3. Spyderco Yojimbo II w/Timascus scales
4. Medford Praetorian T (biggest disappointment, just too large and useless)
Nice haul!

Purchase a membership and you can entertain us with your glamor shots by uploading them directly.

Which membership level would allow for direct upload from my phone to a reply or message?

All i see is "limited attachments" in basic, which I'm guessing means a certain number of picture uploads in a given time or per post, and gallery member size increases with each level, but I don't want to partake in any gallery just to upload pics there in order to get them in a post, that's double the work.

Gold is the first membership level and is $30 per year. Well worth it, IMHO, especially if you're intending to sell here.

You can see all membership options/details by clicking your username in the top banner, then —> Account Details —> Account upgrades (left panel)

I don't know I tend to get kicked out of forums and groups pretty quickly because of my unfiltered opinions on things, so before I go investing I'll see how thick the skin is around here first. Besides, I tend to just give things away instead of sell. I hate selling and haggling and all the BS that goes along with it. I don't trust people, find that in general I encounter more scammers and liars than anything. So rather than sell something, have someone lie about what they received even though I gave them a steal of a deal and then refund them only to never receive the item sold back, I'd rather donate it to someone I find worthy of my generosity. In fact, I'm confident that my frequent giveaways are the only reason the one watch group I've belonged to for a decade hasn't gotten rid of me yet. Lol

Thanks for the advise though.

Well, welcome and hope your experience here is half as good as mine has been.

I got this in a week or two ago, but I was waiting for the lanyard plug to be finished before I posted it. :)

RGT titanium scales, BWL titanium hardware, ZircuTi lanyard plug by MetonBoss (and custom milled/finished by REK Knives), Vanax reblade, custom milled clip, and custom lockbar button all by Josh of REK Knives REK Knives .

This thing is SWEET!

Okay, I had a legit OMG moment opening a box today. I bought a non-flipper version of the Kizer Sheepdog cuz I've wanted one for a while, and BHQ had the Vanguard available for under a hundred in 154CM. Done deal. I didn't really think too much about it being an XL version till I opened the box.

It's "XL" okay, I figure it's going to be bigger than a regular Sheepdog. What I didn't expect was a friggin hand axe to come out of the box! This thing makes my Medford 187 look like an average sized knife, and a Bradley 2 look compact. o_O

IMG_7541b.jpg

The Medford is called the 187 because the blade and both scales are all 187 thickness. The Sheepdog is the same thickness overall! He's one chonky boy for sure.

Anyway, should be fun to take on a camping trip for...oh...I don't know, splitting firewood or something. 🤣
