Went to my kick arss local knife shop yesterday (Blademans) with intent to buy my gf a standard utx85. Instead I upgraded her to a Dirac, got my bro a Hera and myself a utx85 hh. Only spent $950 more then planned

This is going to be my next purchase, or a trade for my black micarta tanto large inkosi. Does the linen micarta on these have that nice soft feeling almost like you're holding a blanket? I don't know if you've ever held a Kizer Begleiter with linen micarta scales, but that's the texture I'm hoping these inkosi's have.

I don’t know if I’d say it feels like a blanket. But it’s definitely comfortable and fills the hand nicely. And I love the smooth feel of the glass-blasted titanium.

Civivi Voltaic with micarta liners. This micarta is the softest, grippiest micarta I have experienced so far; the 14C28N steel takes a keen edge, and the blade is ground pretty thin behind the edge. Great stuff!

David Mary Knives - Wharntastic with approx 3.5" CPM Magnacut blade and blue micarta handle, at around 7" total length. Size is about the same overall as the Benchmade Mini Griptilian, with more blade and less handle although useable handle is about the same.

Pics include size comparison with the Kagitsume 4" Magnacut blade, and the Speedy Weasel v0.9 with 2.8" blade, and Mini Griptilian with 2.91" blade.

The Kagitsume was designed as a self defense wharncliffe by David's Martial Blade Concepts instructor Andy Keyworth. Outside of Andy and his crew, I might be the only other person with one so far, if I recall correctly.
