Everyone's latest acquisitions!

CRKT Piet with cheap 8cr13mov blade, but sharp and well put together - bought as a nice looking beater for 70% off (got 2 to have 1 for future gift). Opens with slow roll of the thumb, or really quickly with the reverse flick using the middle finger. Need to practice more with my thumb to get faster. My Maxace Black Mirror is similar in that it opens faster with the reverse flick. The looks remind me of the CJRB Odium, but the CJRB is a better knife.

JRB Blades Rougarou (Swamp Monster) #7 custom knife, tanto blade in Magnacut with Ti scales. Bought here on the forum in the knifemaker for sale section as one of a small batch of 7. No more small batches now, but will build to order, if I recall correctly.

The action is very nice, and the blade on bearings drops on it's own and is centered. But the scales are kind of slick, although I knew smooth stone washed Ti scales would not have a lot of grip going into this. There is a little bit of lock-stick but not bad, and should improve over time (also knew about this going in).

Last but not least, well, hmmm. Benchmade Azeria. Pics vs the David Mary Knives Speedy Weasel v0.9 and I give a small win to the David Mary Knife for ergonomics, steel, and blade length - but a nod to the Benchmade for the sheath which has a clip and is easier to remove the knife.

The David Mary knife should hold an edge longer, and it fits in my front pants pocket with a J-frame revolver which the Azeria can't do. The Benchmade will be a backpack knife clipped to the straps, and I wont have to worry about it rusting either if it gets wet.

I thought that my Sebenza with the black Micarta inlay was sweet and subtle. My usual preference.

However, this stands out, stands up and shouts!

Well done!
Thank you , sir. I feel like any CRK is a winner. I’m hoping to get one with Magnacut sometime in the not too distant future.

Tragically, I haven't bought any knives this year. I had my eye on a Utility Tools Knives (made in Portland, Oregon) Wilderness model in A2, but they've gone out of business and no one seems to have any of their knives in stock.

There's a good review in the reviews thread on these... Might have to go back a few pages though!

Dove into the deep end with WE knives! I bought the Vision R a few weeks back and was impressed with the build quality for the money. Then Black Friday happened and I purchased everything else in one shot lol. I had been eyeing these designs for some time, but had hesitated with WE due to them being made in China. However, I’m happy that I pulled the trigger! Reate is definitely better build quality, but they‘re also a lot more money.

WE - Vision R - SNECX - CPM 20CV - Bronze Titanium
WE - Evoke - Ray Laconico - CPM 20CV - Flamed Titanium
WE - Esprit - Ray Laconico - CPM 20CV - Black Titanium & Marble Carbon Fiber
WE - Elementum - CPM 20CV - Black Titanium
WE - Banter - Ben Petersen - CPM S35VN - Black Titanium & Marble Carbon Fiber
