How does yours flip? My dad bought one and it would lock shut. He returned it For a replacement and it also would lock shut. The only way to open it was to pull back on the lock a little bit. He was pissed and returned the second one too.

Wow, that was pretty fast on the shipping front! Please forgive the not-fantastic pics. Didn't have time to get out to my usual pic-taking spot.

My brand new Buck 110 in Magnacut:

It came in a different box than I'm used to, and looked like a little higher level presentation, the knife was enclosed in a little baggy, with the sheath being a pretty nice model in black leather:

I always like the look of the Starmate and never bought one. Where did you find it?

One got traded in at the local outdoor store. Just happened to be there at the right time. They’ve got a great knife counter that attracts collectors from a big chunk of the state(AL) so you never know what might show up. I buy almost exclusively from them.

I missed the boat on the titanium Mayo Mach 3s back when they first came out and have wanted one ever since, so I was very excited to see new batches showing up at dealers. It is very well made and I just love the classic Mayo style.
