I started the year with a hankering for an Arno Bernard Gecko in mammoth molar. The moment it arrived my left foot slipped into the hole and I decided a Kudo bone version would make for a nice “pair”.

Then things kinda get a bit fuzzy. You guys obviously know the drill……ya start spiraling down the rabbit hole and then wake up one morning wondering “WTF did I just do?!??”

Fortunately, I love the model. Small enough for comfortable front pocket carry, enough blade and grip for most of my edc needs….and it seems to pair well with everything from shorts and a tee to slacks and a jacket.

Anyway, so these were among the first 5 arrivals of 2023. And yeah, I think I’ll hold this little subset collection to 5.

BTW, who’s making book on these “I’m done!” proclamations? I’d like to put a few wagers down to help offset my expenses.

Lol, but on a serious note, thanks. They come with a fairly compact leather sheath. Overall length is just 5.5” (obviously a bit longer in the sheath), so I find they pretty much disappear in my front pocket. The sheath is made for belt carry, but that’s not really my thing. Letting it float loose in my front pocket is very comparable to a small folder in a zippered pouch or a larger folder in a slip.

Definitely a small, 3-finger fixed blade….but for whatever reason it seems to fit my hand perfectly.

Here’s the only pick I can find with one of the sheaths for reference:

Ahh…no wonder it got my heart racing. I’ve seen some of their collabs on a Russian site and always end up bookmarking them, then going back to look…again and again and again….

Thanks for the details. I always toy with the idea of a fixed blade but for my life the folder just seems more practical.... Maybe one day.
