Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Well I caved in and bought one, just because I liked it. ”Northern Lights”

Just got my new David Mary cleaver.... It is a giant, it is huge and thick and flat ground 8670, which is just a pure toughness steel (though I see why he takes pride in his heat treaters because it is still actually cutting well after a few hard uses. Amazing patina, can't wait to watch it form. Huge handle. It is our family's first real quality kitchen tool and represents a change in the way our family works as my woman and I want to do things better than our parents. The knife is so good along with his mini fixed blade which I EDC... I think I am becoming a David Mary guy cause there are so many knives I want from him.

Also just got this Rajah II and it is just too cool. Waves so easily, cuts, full steel liners, hell, I want one of those fancy aluminum Rajah I then add a Cho!

Last of all, my first Wenger, a Delemont! Did not know which model this is, my first Wenger. Is the small blade supposed to be kind of unsharpened for certain tasks? I do love it.

Received these 2 little fixed blade gems today.

1st- A Zatoichi model from Rusev Rusev with Unbound knives. He modified his std. design a bit for me for my specific carry request. Sweet little knife with an awesome horizontal leather carry sheath that I can get out twice as fast as any pocket folder. Turned out very nice. This is my 2nd from Nick, other is a Rubicon model.

2nd-An EDC Custom in Bacote from Mathew M.McAlevy M.McAlevy knives. This is a very nice, smaller, and handy knife. This is my 3rd from him. Other 2 are a slim B&T and a B&T/Multi use. All are beautiful, balance well, light and handy.

Nice, and Congratulations !, MC is probably my favorite knife reviewer, I’ve been watching his channel for a while now.
I don’t think I saw that live stream, but he does some crazy GAWs often.
Like the one he just did a few minutes ago on his channel, lol.

Thank you, Sir!

Case pocket worn bermuda green bone trapper. Everything is perfect in it except it has little dents on a few of the silver bolsters…so it’s going back. Been very disappointed with Cases QC. Otherwise it’s a beautiful knife.

Good looking bone on that one. Are you talking about the dents where the bolsters meet the handles, as shown in the photo? Pretty sure that’s done on any bolsters where they meet up with the jigging of the bone. I think it’s a nice feature. If the rest of the knife is perfect you won’t get any better than that!

I wasnt sure about that. I have 3 other trappers with jigging but none of them go right to the bolster, they stop maybe a 1/8 inch short of it. The picture Case uses for it also has the jigging stop short of the bolsters. Mine has jigging going all the way to 3 of the bolsters. The bolster that the jigging doesnt extend to is perfect I’ll email Case with pics and see what they say.
