Well i took this apart, and its a fake. Then looked at the box..definitely a fake. I have no clue why i tried to buy from ebay. Lesson learned.

I found another Olamic Wayfarer 247 that I couldn't resist.

Greg Lightfoot's one of the good guys too. Been a long time since I've seen, or heard of him. (I still have one of his custom neck knives.)
Nice to finally see a Maverick in the wild! Hopefully they’re cranking them out now, my waiting list # is rather high! What are your initial thoughts on that one?

Gorgeous, great size. Slim/lightweight. I’m digging everything about it, but wish they didn’t choose an axis lock. A button lock would have been awesome even if it upped the price.
I’m number 962. If that helps you any…you can have my spot in line. It would stop me from getting the micarta version too.

I really liked the Native but preferred a little more real estate on that model .Very happy with this one and fits the bill for me. Feels really good in hand and a Really nice knife , well made and solid a long being a slicer like most spydies.

Thanks for your thoughts on that one, and for the generous offer of your spot! I’m something like 3442, but that’s actually probably for the better anyway for me right now. I’m having a bit of a (or another) struggle with what I’m really looking for to add to my collection, and I really don’t need another cool one breathing down my neck anytime soon!
