Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Just ordered a baby sister to my Bastinelli fixed blade above. Photo by seller.

For whatever reason, this unusual design just spoke to me. Rumor is that the “daddy” knife in this Kizer series is on its way to market as well…..with an OAL of somewhere around 10”. Saving up to unite the family. 🙂

Can't remember the designers name but there was a custom version for sale here a while back and I didn't have the scratch at the time......I would've scooped it up...It was a monster......

Something about it is definitely alluring!!👍👍👍

There's a 31 second video of the Kizer Paragon XL on YouTube, from White Mountain Knives. It shows the mini Paragon first and then the XL. I can't find any specs. on the XL model. I emailed Kizer for the release date and for the specs. of the XL.

While I have some latest acquisitions to post later today, I also have “latest losses”, as in I cannot find my Buck Paradigm Shift and Kizer Laconico Gemini ANYWHERE, and they live in the boxes and should be easy to find in one of my plastic bins. Nada, gone, vamoosed.

It’s a real bummer, and I didn’t find out until I went to carry them this weekend.

I did get this one in this weekend, and got to carry it. A Civivi Qubit Damascus with aluminum scales and button lock. I have a size comparison here with my Benchmade mini Griptilian and my Buck Sprint Pro 841 in carbon fiber and S45VN.

I posted a review of this new knife in a post by WE about new releases.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Yep, the XL will be a dealer exclusive, coming soon I’m told.

Next up is a CJRB Pyrite Limited Edition with S90V blade and Titanium scales and shred carbon fiber and copper inlays - Sold Out right after I bought it.

Also, a SOS OTF budget Tanto in D2, which feels pretty goof for a sub $100 OTF - very little rattle, not impossible to open 1 handed, quite sharp blade. Will make a good beater.

Last but not least, some slip joint knives, of which I may take 1-2 on a trip to the UK this fall along with my SAK.

Viper Hug in M390, Ti bolsters and frame, Dark Matter Blue Carbon Fiber < 3" cutting edge legal, but over 3" blade. Very tight, might be a nail breaker.

Viper Dan 2 in N690 front flipper slip joint with carbon fiber handles. No snappy fast open due to slip joint friction - its a slow roll through the half-stop to full open.

and Spyderco UK Penknife in LC200N. This is probably the easiest to deploy and close, and by far the lightest and most water resistant with LC200N blade and coated hardware. However, it feels like a toy vs the two Viper Knives.
