Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Third times the charm? short story, got the micarta, but thought I'd like the fat camo copper carbon inlays, got that one, wasn't as big a fan, traded the original micarta, sold the fat carbon and got another micarta in yesterday.
No matter which one you get, they are exceptional knives, I could have kept the fat carbon as it was of course done very well, but I did like the micarta just a bit better...enough to go through that whole rigamarole ~ !

Well, if it wasn't for your whole "rigamarole" above then I wouldn't be receiving a nice fat copper carbon inlaid Solarstorm this weekend. So, thanks for that!

Just got 2 more DM knives from his recent 15N20 run.

An EDC Chef and a Wharnificent.

The DM stable is growing

Good collection! You're halfway there to catching up 🙃

Pleasantly surprised by this pick up off the exchange. Large but light and makes a nice summer EDC.

Had these two show up today. I had an earlier version on the ABW Model 1 in micarta that I liked but this one is better. Crisp action and I love the milling on the blade.

The Microtech is a lot of knife for a made in USA folder at that price point. Not the easiest to operate one handed like some axis style locks, some of which is due to its size, but fits the hand well and is built very well. I was surprised at how solid of a knife it is, it’s a beefy knife that should be a great user. Overall I’m very pleased with the initial impression of it. It also is one of the sharpest new knives I’ve ever had, they put a heckuva edge on it.

I've been flip-flopping about this variant of the Chief since it first came out. Maybe one day I'll make up my mind...

(Great photo by the way!)

On my continued path towards world domination, I submit my week's haul of new knives here today for your enjoyment. 10 new knives (2 Tempest Knives not shown), and some blue Titanium scales for my Hinderer XM-18s. Will continue these with a few more posts which include a Tempest Knives Microburst x2 which is not in the group photo.

Herman Sting 347 (my favorite) and 344 (less shiny) in anodized Ti and M398 steel. Plan to EDC one along with my Micro Sting. The wood box is for my Micro Sting 89, and they also replaced my COA with one with the correct steel for the Micro Sting 89.

Next Up I have been searching for a couple of months, and found a nice person on the exchange selling one other DEK, and he contacted me to sell me his remaining one.

Carothers Performance Knives DEK1 in D3V steel and black raw micarta, plus a set of brown rubbed micarta scales.

Spyderco Delica 4 ZOME with Blue Steel in San Mai fashion. I have the blue steel ZOME version in the Dragonfly with black coated steel, but like the larger size of the Delica, and the look of the Hamon line where the steels meet on the uncoated blade.

EDIT - fix grammar, understand it better.

Next up - a Hinderer XM-18 3" with orange scales, which will soon be blue Titanium scales and pocket clip. I have an anodized blue XM-18 3" M390 with Battle Blue scales, and those matte blue scales might move over to this working finish knife, and these shiny Ti scales pictured here will probably go on the shiny anodized model.

I upgraded my Off-Grid knives Viper to a Viper 2 with 154CM steel instead of the D2 steel on the original. I plan to gift the original, or maybe I will just make that a beater knife. These are incredibly beefy knives.

Holy crap Doc! You acquire more in a month (heck maybe a week) than I do in a year. I thought I had a problem haha. I’ve had to slow myself waaaay down this year, I can see where the extra momentum went haha.

Now I’m embarrassed to say this is all I have to show for my latest acquisition lol. Sweet little inexpensive knife nonetheless. Now back to the Doc show. Should change the title to Doc’s latest acquisitions lmao 🤣

Nice Viper. I do have something similar that I really like (in arctic storm CF).

Hahah, Nope to the rest of it! 😅 This thread is all about everyone's latest acquisitions. Just because I'm nuts doesn't mean anyone should be embarrassed for being sane. I have to slow down at some point, I really do; and it's not all about me - I was just joking about world domination because of what someone else posted previously.
