First of two arriving this week - I definitely need to stay off the interwebz late at night when I’m tired and have zero self control and cave into the subtlest of suggestions. Anyway, this is this month’s Buck of the Month. I already had two Sprints, a Sprint Pro and Sprint Ops Pro. This one’s another Sprint Pro, S30V steel, aluminum handle. Sweet, sweet action.

And then there were three. Huey, Dewey and Louie.

This is the new REK Knives Ember 3.0... with a little inspiration from the late, great Bob Loveless!

The knife features a 3" Magnacut blade, with a full flat grind with the crazy sharp edge we've all come to expect from Josh! The handle features an african blackwood bolster, brass/stainless Loveless fasteners, Westinghouse or International Paper green canvas Micarta (from Bob's shop!), carbon fiber lanyard tube, and red G10 liners... Because in the words of Mr. Bob Loveless "every woman needs a little red lipstick."

And here it is next to the Ember 3.5.

I took advantage of the recent Spyderco and ZT sales to pick up a couple I've been eyeing for a long time. Very different designs but I'm quite happy with both.
