Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I've had several more knives come in since Saturday that have not been posted yet until I got pics. I forgot to post this Pena X-series Mula here, that I picked up Saturday from Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley and have been carrying but only posted in the EDC thread.

I've got his 3 pics and then mine from when I picked it up. This knife has a fantastic action for thumb flick and reverse flick, as well as front flipper action!

Next is a brand new Spyderco Chaparral in CTS-XHP with Raffir Noble scales, and Mule in AEB-L steel.

I may move my black G-10 Mule scales over to this one for kitchen use, and do a paracord-wrap scale, or make a wood scale for my M398 Mule.

After that, it's my brand new TRM Shadow in 20CV steel and G10 from the most recent drop last week. It drops shut on bearing so fast that my palm got in the way...

Also, received a CJRB Titanium Pyrite with Damascus steel blade (likely Cr9/Cr10) and copper flake carbon fiber #118/500, to compliment my stonewashed S90V Pyrite with copper flake CF and Ti scales #70/500.

Dishonorable mention goes to the Sitivien ST996 that showed up from Amazon without it's original box, in a generic and unbranded zipper pouch with a broken off pull tab, and obvious discoloration and wear - showing it was used unlike my previous 2 perfect Sitivien knives. This one went back immediately and didn't even go out the door with me...

Man if there was ever a grail knife for me I think this is it. Such a pretty knife.

It's beautiful, light, and SHARP. Opening it safely requires wrapping a couple of fingers tightly around the pocket clip to hang onto it better, but I still don't want to fidget with it on the couch for fear of dropping it in my lap and bleeding out!

The smaller and lighter blade doesn't flick out as fast or as easily as the larger and heavier Shin or Higo II 3.5" blades, but I think after I've done more break-in then I will oil the pivot some. But I want to wear in the washers a little first. But the Hizen's lighter detent allows me to slow roll it open more gracefully than with the Shin, which wont let go while I push for a bit and then all of a sudden I'm halfway open. I don't recall how the detent feels my Higo II, and will have to pull that out of the safe soon.

On a drive from VA to MO my family and I stopped off at SMKW. My first time there…an adult toy store! Since my wife and 5 year old were there, I didn’t have time to really explore much but it was nice to handle some knives I had only seen online. One in particular that I liked was the Mini Adamas. Not something I’d be interested in had I not gotten to handle it.

Anyway, the presence of my wife kept me from going too crazy. I just snagged a couple less expensive items. One trad, one modern.

DocJekl DocJekl I hope you don’t take offense and understand that I use you as my “ Honey it could be worse” every time she gets the mail on new knife day!

Great! Then by all means, show her this one ASAP!

I just got back from a 3 hour round trip to pick this one up, skirting around a large hailstorm; completing my Shirogorov Elemental series, or at least getting it up to date while we wait for the 4th element to drop. I present to you Shirogorov F3 Aquatic, to join my Terrus (earth) and Ignis (fire).
