Everyone's latest acquisitions!

It's actually really nice and I'm really liking the overall quality feel of it so far. It came used, but was razor sharp. I like the tip on this knife a tad better than on the Enduras I've had in the past. Also, I AM looking forward to having something of quality with me on my next beach outing. I used to take an old Gerber Paraframe with me out to St. Pete or Cocoa and the blade got spotty over the years, so it just sits in a drawer. I think I'm going to be good to go.

Cool! It is nice on the beach. Even after I get it full of sand just a quick blast with some water and it was ready to go again. Love the salt line.

Fällkniven A1... Had to have a good camping knife.

Went to my local firearms and outdoor supply today to buy a work belt. Left with a belt, a ZT 0450, and a Spyderco efficient.

Great choice, Fällknivens VG10 holds an edge very good. And if you bring a good handsaw, let's say a Silky Gomboy 21, you don't need to lug an axe around anymore!

Just got ZT 0350 new delivered Monday for $84.50. I already have 2 other 0350's in CF but it was too good a deal to pass up. I also have 2 ZT 0566CF's inbound. Got them both new for $95.50 which I also couldn't pass up. Don't know what I'll do with 2 of them but I'll figure it out, lol.

My latest, was wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Only mark is JAPAN on tang. Guy I got it from thought it had something to do with Elmer Keith. Not sure but I like it.

I've been trying to branch out a bit lately, as I have 4 or 5 makers I keep coming back to and would like to have more variety in my collection. I've been selling off a few to help fund and to pare down a bit, moving out familiar knives that I kinda like but that just sit. I'm also trying to buy knives that I'll actually use and carry regardless of price-point. There's a lot to look at and not a whole lot other than my fave makers that really floats my boat. After buying two and selling one I now have a Hinderer that I love and carry, though it took a blade re-profile to make it more to my liking. There are probably more of those in different grinds/sizes in my future now.

Another maker that's been interesting me is Olamic. I've been looking on the Exchange, reading posts, and scouring Olamic's website and listed dealers. I just pulled the trigger on this 247 PVD stonewash. I was swearing off coated blades and scales as I generally hate getting them marked up, but the stonewashing of this one looks like it will wear similarly to the blackwash finish on my ZT0350. The price on the knife was excellent from RussianKnives.com and it pushed me over the edge as I relaxed this morning with my lazy Saturday coffee. I've got a tracking # already and I'm wicked eager to have it in hand.

Dealer pics for now--
