Catch #2 - giving Spyderco another shot after a ho-hum fling with a Manix 2 that resulted in it eventually getting sold. I think this one will be a keeper, ironically because it’s such a departure for Spyderco. Flipping action is unique, but easy to operate and buttery-smooth, in a machine-like kind of way. Really cool to fidget. Releasing the lock isn’t anywhere near as bothersome as many reviews have indicated - push the button and give it the slightest wrist flick, and it closes completely without needing to nudge it the final few mm’s. Blade is very sharp out of the box, as you’d expect from these guys. And I love the blade shape, which is a big part of what sold me on it - that and it being a flipper. Feels like it’ll be a real solid workhorse.

It’s a ketuousa made Beetle. They come in four colors and in steel or titanium. very small mechanical knife. Very well made too. Steel is $50, the titanium/m390 version is $85

This is a Rosco P. Trapper featuring a hand-rubbed CPM-MagnaCut blade, nickel-silver bolster and pins, true Westinghouse rag Micarta covers, and a Westinghouse blue Ivorite shield. My dream knife!

I have, and have had a lot of very nice knives in my collection, but this is hands down the finest traditional knife I have ever owned. The walk and talk is amazing. Super snappy with a perfect six for the pull. The fit and finish is about as good as it gets.... Just beautiful!
