DocJekl DocJekl and I have been back and forth on many knives over the past few months, he sends, I lanyard and return as something wasn't just my type, so he has made a lot of attempts to find just the right one, it's a tough call to be sure. But this one may be the one that will stick around, handle thickness, blade length and thickness all work towards things I am liking lately, that plus a hidden lanyard pin doesn't hurt ;)

This is a Remette Rhino, nice size, for me at least, folder,

Thanks again Doc !

LOL 😂 It's so had to find a knife gift for you that you like enough to keep; but I'd rather keep trying than have you pretend you like something just to make me stop. It says something about your fine character when you'd send back an expensive knife that you don't like, and keep a budget knife that you do like; rather than hoard nicer stuff that you don't enjoy. Those full Size David Mary Knives I showed you are still available for you to pick one for Christmas and call it all good.

The Remette Rhino is a great knife; with a nice detent from the button activated liner lock, in 14C28N steel and nice Micarta, with 3.39" blade and 4" handle so not too big, with a great action and multiple means of deployment (fuller, studs, front flipper), and a hidden lanyard pin. It is really is hard to beat for under $75-100. After I bought it, I saw that it was recommended by Metal Complex in the most recent review (some changes were made).

Here are a couple of Shirogorov that came in the past 24 hours, plus a Horsewright Paisano in 2.75" AEB-L and desert ironwood that came in yesterday.

That's 3 of the 12 knives I received this week. The Hati is also new, while the F95 R18 is used but LNIB. I'll have to post the others later as I get time, so we can leave to celebrate my son's birthday in a few minutes.

Those are pretty nice ones DocJekl DocJekl and fancy knife and sheath there from Horsewright Horsewright as well, very cool.

And along with that Remette Rhino there was also a small Demko fixed blade, it was a serrated model but I am not so partial to those and on a blade that's barely 2" it didn't seem to want to cut as well for me so I was going to send it back along with some items he ask me for some help with but as he didn't want it back either and being fairly inexpensive, he asked me to keep it or give it to someone that might like it. But I couldn't think of someone that would want a blade that I felt wasn't a very good cutter, in my opinion, others may find it brilliant. So I took it to my 1x30 and ground off the teeth of the serrations, gave it a convex edge down to a chiseledge and now, it's a brilliant cutter, overall length is about 4 1/2" so it's a smallish knife, which I think will be great as a box cutter. so thanks Doc!
also tied a nice bobtail fob on there to aid in drawing the knife out.
