This is a WWII Western G46-8 that someone did a bit of work on. It's not for usin', but for lookin'-at.

My father made a double-handful of knives during WWII, usually from cross-cut saw blades and the occasional vehicle spring. He put Lexan handles on several so, when I see something like this beauty....

Very good haul this week. Shout out to smittyc5 smittyc5 who sold me the ZT 0456. Not only is it my first ZT, I didn’t even know it existed until a few weeks ago. Someone here posted a photo of one in their collection and it was love at first sight. But after Googling it and discovering it was discontinued and only available at scalper prices, I’d kind of given up hope of ever getting one. So when it showed up on the Exchange at an improbably low price I pounced! One of my new (for me) favorite Sinkevich designs.

Also never thought I’d get my hands on a Shirogorov F3 NS, much less one in my desired purple carbon fiber, after spending months drooling over Mr.sig239 Mr.sig239 ‘s Knives and Coffee posts featuring his. And being inspired by MacLaren1 MacLaren1 ‘s recent acquisition of one, I added it to my grail list never imagining that in just a few weeks I’d have one in hand, and not have to pay a ridiculous price.

So very thrilled with both of these!

Fridays incoming plus Mondays is frankly just nuckin' futz! Today I finally received my pre-orders for the Null Knives Raikou.

* I received my Raikou Exclusive Launch Edition in Bjorkmans Twist Damasteel, Frost Fat Carbon, + Black Timascus clip &backspacer, 1 of only 25 made.
* Plus I got my standard Production Raikou in belt satin S90V and blue anodized Ti scales.
* Also got my Civivi Elementum II button lock in Nitro-V and Ultem Scales (I have this in Dessert Warrior and Natural G10 too)
* And my Miguron Moyarl cross-bar lock in 14C28N and green micarta (I bought the liner lock in G10 previously)
* Lastly was a Civivi Gramis mini fixed blade that I ordered Oct 18th last year and finally showed up 😂
