Yeah my daughter told me one that I already sold was her favorite but then picked a different one from the drawer. My son is only 1 so we will see what he picks.

Surfing the exchange that evening I bump into this little honey. So it's the boys latest acquisition.

Supervised use only, but he's really set on learning the right way.

When I told the seller about this, he threw in this really neat lanyard bead. Super cool move. Kids over the moon.

Very cool! My daughter was the same way at that age. Now she’s about to turn 12 and has her own collection. It’s really cool when they share an interest with you. She’s been hitting me up the past few years about tagging along at blade show. Been putting that one off 😂. It’s hard enough on my bank account when it’s just me there.

That's so awesome! Plus, how can the wife blame us for spending funds on a hobby that is so important to the kiddos. :) One of you guys should make a thread about this norcalAF norcalAF
 
Here's my latest purchase and my 1st purchase on The Exchange for over a year.

It's a ZT0456CF. Nothing special but it's one of the few ZTs that I didn't own yet that I still wanted and it's now the 45th ZT in my collection.

Previously, owned an all Ti version of the 0456 that I didn't like but, I'm a CF whore, and this one seems fine to me. :)

I've used a PO Box for over 40 years -- mainly for privacy, security & convenience.

I've heard a lot of reasons why vendors will not ship to a PO Box but this is new one to me.

FYI, shipments sent to a PO Box that are too big to "fit," will either be yellow tagged for pick up at the desk or put in a locker (in which case they'll leave the locker key in the box.) 🤷‍♂️

And, for those vendors who say (for whatever reason) that they won't ship to a PO Box, I just give them the physical address of the PO and my "Suite #") which will suffice for the delivery of pkgs by UPS, FedEx or any other carrier.

That’s a great idea! If someone does start a thread shoot me a message and let me know. I would be more than happy to show off her collection. I’m pretty proud of it 😂
 
Present for my wife - she loves Spydies. Last one I got her was a Native in yellow / Magnacut - and I find her intentionally trying to find things to cut around the house since I got it for her. I think she was genuinely upset last time I got to the Amazon box first. ;)

Do you mean the spear point Bowie with the light colored handle? The last one in the last pic? I call it a cowboy Bowie by GL Drew, hidden tang. I believe it is 52100 or 1095. I will try and get pics another day as I have been recovering from right hip surgery, the left one is coming in mid March, and unable to get it out from storage.

Such pretty lines. Very simple, but very elegant and stylized.

I wanna make knives that look like that.....someday.
