Exchange Forum Scam Concern

Technically speaking, Alaska is also part of the North American Continent, and thus, would apply under CONUS. Hawaii, not so much.

Apparently, we are not the only ones that are confused by this. Some call the 48 the Continguous US, or the Lower 48. Looks like there are other places that are not contiguous, which are actually part of the Lower 48. LOL! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contiguous_United_States

I say CONUS because of cost. There IS a difference in price shipping to AK or HI, both USPS and UPS. I'll typically be OK as long as the difference is paid by the buyer.

I don't want to ship outside the country, not because of the destination country, but because of the incredible hassle to rectify a problem outside of the USA.

I also said there are a few exceptions.

There's a price difference if you're not using flat rate priority, to be sure. I've no clue why one wouldn't use it, but whatever floats your boat.

In all seriousness, clear communication is very important - it can make the difference between a good transaction and what might appear to be a bad one.
 
well, this had all the elements to outclass McGregor/Mayweather but it has now waned .... not worthy of popcorn` But glad it worked out good for all. But hey, could have made a nice 8 second clip on the "Real Housewives of Busse" :D

I have the same problem with my APO so I just ignore CONUS sales. I figure if the extra two minutes to fill out a form is to much then it's a person I really don't want to do business with anyway.
 
Okay... best I can tell is rwknox sold 4 knives to Ruckizha. Ruckizha also purchased other similar knives around the same time. One of those other knives showed up and Ruckizha thought it was one of the 4 knives that rwknox sold him. He messages rwknox stating that he only received one of the 4 knives. Rwknox freaked a little and started a thread. He then said never mind because the buyer (yet to be named) is an idiot. Ruckizha then identified himself as the buyer and said he made a mistake; he was just confused about purchases he made.

Is that accurate?

If you can honestly make heads or tales out of the postings here I'm pretty amazed. All I have been able to determine is bad communication happened and no one is officially out anything yet.

I created a USPS shipping label for HI today, and with insurance for a $100 item it was a dollar more than the same item shipped to the CONUS.

One dollar.
