It doesn't matter if google sticks around for a long time or not. There are plenty of other search engines.
 
The point being his arrest in the paper and his lack of honesty and integrity here can be discovered by the use of AN internet search engine folr a Long long time.

Ethan purportedly sent me the knives he owes today. I have a fedex tracking number. I will let you all know if/when I receive the knives. If anyone wants to call him PM me and I will send you his phone #.

Were it me, I would be very careful opening the package.
 
I got the package. The Jackass didn't follow my instructions and send it on my FedEx account. It went regular COD to my house so instead of costing $15 it cost $37. That guy is really dumb. Additionally, the knives had rust spots on them. I cleaned them up and they are fine for users but definitely not what was agreed to. Lying POS.

Lying POS, Conniving POS, and just a plain POS!. Dumb?!. I doubt it.. I'd wager he knew just what he was doing when he sent the knives COD to your home on your FedEx account. Probably thinks it quite amusing.

If you haven't already, I'd advise you to change your account number ASAP before this thief bills lots more $$$'s to you via FedEx for his future swindling capers.. :rolleyes:

I didn't give him my account number that is the issue. I told him to send it to my office and check bill recipients account. He just checked bill recipient and sent the package to my home address. So I got billed retail instead of wholesale. Let me tell you it is possible that he did this on purpose but the guy is very, very dumb.

My guess is a couple of punk kids...2 for sure; no more than 4...All having a good old laugh at the old farts they're screwing... :grumpy:

...Local constabulary is the best idea I've read here...Send them a printout of this thread, too... ;)
 
Wow, Just got done reading through this entire thread. Very sorry to hear about the hassle. Some people... It's scary to see people this low lurk around the forums. I'm very cautious when doing trades. I've had my share of bad deals. It's rare but it still can happen to any of us. At Least you finally got the knives, Even though they weren't in the best of shape. Hopefully this a$$hole DID get what was coming to him and thrown in a small jail cell! ...Give him some time to think about all the wrong he's done and BS he put people through.

Smart for you not to give him your account number, but the FedEx airbil has specific instructions on checking Billing to Recipient: 'Enter FedEx account number OR credit card number below'.

He may have tried, but they would not let him. That's my experience.

For the extra fee, the episode is over and what a lesson (like you wanted a lesson?!) was learned.

He's still a dick, believe it. :thumbdn:

Glad you got something at least. I still haven't even received an email from him since I told him to stop f-ing around and live up to his word or be a dumb worthless POS punk...well you get the idea. Maybe there is hope for mine yet.

I had him put the package in the fedex drop box with no return address. FedEx had no choice but to deliver the package. This is the only way to pul of a COD with FedEx with or without an account number. I gave him my office address and asked him to check bill recipients account. I have done this before many times when I haven't wanted to give out my account number and it has always worked. Jackass used the dropbox and sent it to my home address. My wife didn't know what was up when the package showed up and wrote the delivery person a check. Under my volume account it would have been $17, regular retail rates are $36.
