Extreme Build Off Challenge

Has anyone here had any contact with Brian. Profile still says he hasn't been on BF since middle of October.
 
Hi Everyone,

All of the knives are safe and will be returned soon. I have done a lot of testing with them and need to do some more. I'll try and have the reviews up as soon as possible.

I've had an unfortunate chain of events that snowballed on the family. Work, money, a move and the health of my wife have put me in a tight spot.

I should have just explained a few things sooner an not let it go so long. Instead of doing the right thing I was embarrassed and blew it off.

That obviously wasn't fair to all of you that put a lot of work into the knives and the folks that wanted to see the challenge.

I plan to redeem myself and regain your trust and respect. Hopefully that is still possible. This was never my intension and I feel pretty horrible about it.

I sincerely apologize everyone.

Jeeze Brian... we weren't doubting your integrity, bud... we are just anxious to see the results. Take care of your family. We just moved so I know how disruptive that can be, let alone having to deal with sick loved ones. Do what you gotta do.... I for one, can wait.
 
Thanks Rick. I figured that you weren't doubting or hating and I wouldn't blame you if you did. Maybe I should have worded my post different but I guess that is just how I feel about myself so it came out that way.
 
Brian, knife testing on this level is never as easy as it seems.

Complicating the situation with the kind of set backs you have had just disturbs any rhythm your testing had going.


I'm sure the results will be worth the wait, but we all know family comes first.

Hey Brian, glad to hear form you.

To be honest those thoughts of doubting you did begin to creep into my own thoughts. I do think you should/could have come forward sooner, especially with this crowd. If anything I believe the Blade Forums crowd can too trusting, and forgiving a lot of the time. But I am glad you have updated us now and hope you can get through the challenges life has thrown your way. Best wishes to you and your family.

Brian, how things get better with your wife's health and all other aspects. Never doubted you. We've been having some problems here too and I am way behind on orders so I know how you feel. But don't beat yourself up about it. Take care man!
 
My wife was just asking last night about this challenge. I hate to say it but I am kinda glad I had to sell my knife so it was not gone for so long.
Good luck to all you guys that entered a knife. I hope you get an update soon since it has been 2 months since the last.
 
Once again.... we NEED an update from Brian. At this point, I am afraid to pay to have it sent back for fear of losing the postage on top of the price of the knife. I understand personal problems but you have to keep us posted, brother.
