Yep, I just did the same w/ the copper - it's all YOU GUYS' fault I keep finding more RHK stuff I can't live without!! :D

Yes "you guys" are going to put me in the poor house. I'm going to write Rick a strongly worded letter as well asking him to stop making such awesome stuff that I can't live without.

Ok I did it. I pulled the trigger on a bronze investigator yesterday. As of now I'm not a pen guy at all, but I do love everything that is hinderer. I need to know first hand what all the hype is about with these pens. I see that most other hinderer guys get into the pens also, so I thought what the hell? At least they are cheaper than the knives right? Man I hope I don't like it as much the XMs or I am in real trouble! Thank you for hooking me up Rob!

I wasn't a pen guy until not having one cost me big time in my youth by short-term alcohol infused memory forgetting the phone number and room number of one of the most attractive young ladies ever to show me "kindness". Now a pen is with me most every waking moment. Carry a phone now too, had accidentally left mine back in the hotel that night.

The bronze stuff from the a Ranch is one of my favorites. You made a good choice.

And Rob is one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to communicate with...and for that matter meet.

I should have a copper one delivered today! Just got home from my shift last night, hopefully I'll wake up this afternoon and have been visited by the Hinderer Claus :)

I like it! Although it's smaller than I imagined, it seems to be just about the right size in hand - has a nice feel to it.

I have not weighed them, but the SS and Copper have the most heft with the SS feeling a little heavier. The titanium is really cool, but is definitely the lightest and that is why I prefer writing with the SS and copper. The titanium is nicest in a dress shirt pocket.

Nice! Yep, they are smallish, that's a big why the cap screws onto the backside.

I like that pen a lot.
 
i'd like to add something to this, I do not have an ed pen, but i do have an investigator pen. for quick notes, writing a letter etc, the investigator is fine, size is great etc. that being said, for long writing sessions the investigator is NOT comfortable. the cutouts provide a secure grip for writing with a glove, or punching, but after 1h30 of writing it starts seriously hurting. I am a uni student and have exams in the coming days (next one is tommorow :( )therefor i often am hunched over my desk with my pen for long periods of time. I rather use another pen for studying. again, for edc and short writing purposes it is the best you can get.

Have you tried adding o-rings for comfort?
