Extreme Duty or Investigator?

Good luck finding it Jenson! It's an awful feeling not having a piece of gear you are used to relying on. Hopefully it'll turn up sooner rather than later.

Got it!!! One of the after school kids at the sitters found it this morning. After school he got dropped back off and was showing it off to the other kids. My three year old recognized it as daddy's pen so the sitter held onto it for me. I can't believe my three year old daughter knew it was my pen. I dont remember ever showing it to her. She is awesome! I owe her a new stuffed animal.

Awesome! I think that's earned her a new toy and maybe the kid who picked it up a candy bar. I'm glad you got it back.

Excellant news!! That makes sense though... three(3) year olds still have functional brains and a sense of wonderment at all things high and low. It's teenagers that would never had seen it because it is 3-dimensional and doesn't exist on an LCD screen.
Good! and yes. Your Princess should receive a Grand-Award from an appreciative (Her) Daddy :)

Glad for you J81, whenever a Hinderer product goes missing real cause for alarm! Smart little girl you have there and very observant. Better not throw a second glance at any nice looking ladies when she is around, could be a direct pipeline to mom, just saying.:)

Wow, that's great! Glad to hear the good news, funny what kids pay attention to/pick up on ;)

Thanks guys. I was bummed for a bit but was glad it wasn't my wharnie in the other pocket. #1 because I didn't want to lose it and #2 because I didn't want some kid to find it and hurt themself or someone else. I was really proud of my little girl for being that observant and for speaking up about it especially since it was a "big kid". I bought her a Charleston chew. I haven't seen one in 20 years and didn't know they were still around. She looked at me like I was giving her a friggin gold bar or something. Her face was priceless! Probably the same face I made when the sitter handed me my pen and told me the story.

Happy story. My little girl turns 19 this weekend.
Where did the time go...

Time flies doesn't it? Sometimes I wish I could just hit a pause or slow motion button to enjoy these years with my little girls. I bet you have some great stories of the past 19 years with yours. :)

I'm glad to hear that you have found you pen. I hate the feeling when I loose something.

Sounds like your little girl is a DADDY's GIRL! :)

I much prefer the investigator. The heavy duty is too large and the ridges tear up your pocket. The investigator is a great little pen that is easy to carry. They are really nice in copper....

Edit to add: I guess I should have read the rest of the posts first lol. Nice choice and it is amazing how you got it back! You are very fortunate.

^ no that's cool I completely agree with you about the investigator. I kind of hijacked this thread with my lost pen.
