Extremely limited in my choice of blades

As I am in Scotland, I am very limited in what knife I can carry legally.

Not allowed lockable blades, or anything over 3 inches.

I have my eye on a couple on a website.

I would prefer black titanium, but doubt that's gonna happen! And the length no less than 3 inches.

Any recommendations?

Thanks, Jaymz.

Check out the Spyderco UK Penknife. Blade just under 3"

Maybe a Ladybug would fit the bill?

Hard to imagine that this little cutie will scare anyone...

It can't be a lock knife guys. I would get done if I got caught with any of those.

The law is very strict in Glasgow and Scotland.

The UK pn knife is a great EDC knife. Mine sees a lot of picket time. It is really all the knife I need.

It's not really for scaring people.

I live in a rough area, just outside Glasgow and if I get attacked by a few people, having a little blade will give me an advantage in a scuffle. Providing I can hang onto it.

Well out of all the knives mentioned above your post except the ladybug are NON locking knives called slip joints.

an advantage in a scuffle.

Get a stout walking stick for that.
The UKPK is great as an EDC blade, but a sturdy length of wood will serve you better in a fight than a sub-3 inch, non-locking blade.

The Urbans and UKPK/DKPK Spydercos are slip joints

Yeah but they will still be classed in the same bunch as lock knives. Believe me. I'll get done. At the least get it taken off me, I don't want that either.

Says stabman.

I would rather have the blade than nothing. Cheers.

No need to get snarky in the face of good advice.
But hey, if having a tiny knife makes you feel like Batman or something, go for it.

They cannot be classed in the same as lock knives....they do not lock.

Hell...UK is in the name.

Blimey.

Aye aye. Nah it won't make me feel like that maggot batman. And you've seen the blades he carries anyway, not much bigger than what I'm looking for.

Listen, I'm not here to argue or anything, but I will get more than snarky if you give me shit advice like that again.

The will get classed in with a bunch of lock knives? How can they be confused with locking knives they have no locks? The UK Penknife (UKPK) was designed to be legal in the UK. It does not lock and has a sub 3' blade. You can even go with the DK Penknife (DKPK) designed not to be opened with one hand. You can even get the DKPK in black G10.

Listen here NEWB, no one is scared of your pathetic little net-threats.
If you want to play keyboard commando, bully for you.
But don't think anyone here is going to be cowed by your little hissy fit, and, on the vanishingly small chance that you are NOT a returning, already banned troll, you are not endearing yourself to the knife community.:thumbdn:
