Hi Buellrider, (nice scooter BTW)
Sorry, but we're currently planning on doing the "customer Appreciation Sale" at the factory. All of the powers that be (city, country, etc.) have given us the go ahead as long as we strictly follow their requirements. So it's going to be "different". Check our website.

Are you accepting any proxy requests for this year? The knives are safe to use or they wouldn't be sold at all. Safe to use does not mean free of play, blade centered when closed, free-swinging when unlocked, easily flicked open or any of the other things people deem important.
From what I've seen watching people shop at these sales, "I would take a chance" is the exception, not the rule. When I agree to proxy shop for someone, I make it very clear that if they went to the sale, they could choose a knife with defects they can live with. Sending me instead will get them a knife with defects that I could live with, and I may well be less picky than they are. Usually it works out. Sometimes it doesn't.

Sorry, but there are no plans to have an online sale. Too much headache.

See my first post, #26, above. I linked the FB post too. Sal still said there was no online sale after that. I don't know.Sal, the “official” Spyderco Instagram posted a few days ago saying there will be an online factory seconds sale (posted here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CG-rqVcHZ4U/?igshid=1mp46hjhkqu0f). Is this not Spyderco’s official Instagram? If it’s official, do you know why that was posted if there isn’t actually going to be an online sale?
Thanks,
Dan
