Factory waved Endura - owned!

I just had to order one. Being a fan of the Wave concept and Spyderco
I just had to have it. Love at first sight as it were. I do think however
that visa may have a hit man looking for me though. :eek: :D
 
Mine is definitely not gray. It is an extremely dark blue.

In the last of Phil's pictures you can see the blue tint.

The wave version is scheduled to be gray in handle color, bead blasted sliver clip.

Great pics, thanx much.

The actual color might be considered a dark blue/gray. We liked the sample color. We felt it would work well with uniformed professionals and was different enough from our standard black to be distinguishable.

I think it looks very dark blue. They Caly Jr. Lightweight is gray, and the wave is far from the Caly color. Maybe the pic will help, but it could depend on the settings on your monotreme.
 
I'm starting to get nervous. I ordered mine about five business days ago, and it still hasn't shipped. I've recieved no email notification, and the money hasn't been taken from my account. I'll cry if I was too late. It's still up on their site with no text about it being sold out, but I'm still getting worried.

Rest assured, Bob is a standup guy, met him today. I bought two waved Enduras one is for my friend (he paid for his).
I was in Seaside this morning and stopped by his dojo. He has more than a few left so its not to late. All the guys there had em as their EDCs. Got mine home today and I am VERY pleased with my purchase :)... This will be my EDC as of today, LOVE the steel, the way it snaps open is awesome. What are you waiting for they're goin fast. Count down was from 500, zero is not far.. :eek:

I think that Spyderco has snuck a new scale material past us. It appears that the waved Endura uses a prototype "mood" FRN that changes color based on the user's disposition. :)

Delivered Waved Endura to my friend yesterday. He was quite thrilled with his new knife. We were indoors it looked dark gray black, but when outside in the sunlight it looked more blue gray than dark gray black. Whatever color you see its a good looking color... :D

Don't worry... I am from OHIO as well, and it took a while to ship. I guess he's a busy guy and he'll ship when he get's around to it. I got mine, and it was worth the wait. I was worried for a while too, and then, they came! Just wait and you'll get yours...

WoW is all I can say... It's an incredible knife.. Light as a feather...

I'll tell you one thing..

If Spyderco decides to make more and other models,, this WILL NOT be the last one I own..

This knife will be in rotation for a very long time....

I'm very please that I bought it,,and James has Excellent A++ customer service..

I just noticed..does it have the thumb ramp checkering? will this eventually get onto other enduras? cool color, too
 
Yes, the thumb ramp is. As you slide your thumb up the back of the handle and it hits the ramp, it stops dead.

I agree. It shows up as black or near-black in some pictures but it definitely isn't. Especially in good or natural light.
 
I had been starting to get worried as well but I just received my shipping
confirmation from SDF. The message said that the spydie should be arriving
the 19th. I can't wait.
