Sweet! I like sharp knives! Knuckle dusters are cool, I still want to make a one finger duster with a bottle opener. I forget what company makes them, but its not my original idea.

Yeah I can get precision ground A2 and O1 at fastenal, but it has to come from their warehouse which is only 40 minutes away, the same place it would come from if you ordered it locally! But there is a major steel supplier 35 minutes south of me that I need to call and see what they have for tool steels and such. The only reason I don't go down there is the price of gas here is still $4.25/gal and my Tahoe likes to burn it up! I would ride my bike down there but bringing back 50lbs of steel would be troublesome, although I do have a trailer for my bike...

Good thing your getting close to having my "care package" finished up because if stayed there any longer I am sure I would buy something else from you and just tell you to hold on to everything and ship it all together! Haha, it would be a years worth of purchases all shipped at once! But that was our plan all along was it not?

Nice, I have a 2 knuckle one I designed.

Funny about the distributor, I think half of everything I buy comes from California or Texas. I've single handedly doubled Colorado's Gross Product by making knives here! lol we have beer too...

It is hard to believe how long it has been since you ordered your knife, a lot of my next run is orders from then too. That's why I had to stop with orders, too backed up. I group orders by steel too, some get moved around because of supply issues. It seems everything is getting knocked out fast now! I'm about to order D2 for tantos next.

chopper + sword = Wakichete!

Cool stuff! I like that dashi a lot.

Be careful, making knives is addictive!

Is that Kershaw a flipper? Looking good!

I may contact you! :D If I ever get the space I will have all my records where I can play them again. Same with a bike, have you heard "One part at a time" by Johnny Cash.

I was going to fix up this 20" GT I have but who knows, lol I'm old! I hope to eventually build a miniramp for skating, it's for my daughter not me, I swear.

Cool my pics helped on the dashi, it is loosely based on a classic design. I rotate a lot of knives for EDC but my kiridashi is indispensable.

I like that flipper mechanism a lot, looks nice and smooth.

I have been carrying a Ken Onion Ripple a lot lately, I wanted to see if the flipper sticking out bothered me. I am very happy to say that it is not noticeable at all, even while clipped in my pocket and sitting.

Woody Knuckles.. I have a 2 finger brass havoc. feels good in hand.. I like the one finger with bottle opener too.. going to get one sooner or later..

back later to stir things up --- last night I spent 2 hours feeling like a bad crystal high had gotten the better of me.. itchy scratchy all over.. f'ing allergies kicking my ass this season.. symptoms keep changing.. I'm tired as hell and need beer... laters

Daniel i can see it now a knuckle knife like the trench 1918 ones with a wide bowie shaped blade 9 inches long and .25 thick.Oh hell yea I would jump on dat boat!!!!

Hell yeah, I have one knuckle knife, but I bet a D guard or full knuckle knife would be killer!

Thanx on the assist Sloth, that's the one I was thinking of. I've been wanting to make some mokume lately, and thought a single knuckle made with mokume would be worth the legal hassle here in Cali. Sucks 'bout the allergies, that's the one issue here in the valley, they call it valley fever here, but it is terrible! But luckily for me I outgrew it years ago, not a problem since!

Kevin, next time you're over I'll show you some awesome wrapping styles that I have never seen on a knife, yet. My tanto from DFK is gonna get the full treatment, just you guys wait!

Cool, I just found out about those guys today. It's funny, the one I designed looks a little like theirs and a few others... only certain designs work.

I hope you feel better, this is the first year I have had to take medication for allergies. Itchy!

I actually have one in the plans! I'm hoping to get some done this year, I have some rough designs drawn up. I like the idea you have, that sounds good.

So many fun plans! I'm working on a ring fighter too, that is a ways off though. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. :D

Heck I may have to make some knuckles then! The ones I designed look pretty mean. I'm thinking 6061 Aluminum, it is some serious material.

Mokume, that would be cool! I can't imagine what the billet would cost but it would be worth it.

I can't wait to see the tanto wrapped! I just posted a photo of it.

Mornin' men. The tantos are looking sharp! :D

For that 1918 Trench Knife, take a look at the Busse Combat Works website for ideas. I noticed that they have an example they are currently producing, called the Argonne Assault LB. It looks like a real beast!

Morning men.Shayman The Busse AA has no where near a wide bowie style blade.Plus they are way too thin. Also almost $600, I would rather have a custom. Thanks for the thought though Shayman!!!

LOL. Thanks for the correction. I was completely focused on the knuckle wrap and missed everything else.

A DFK Rendition would be ridiculously cool! Add a skull crusher too!
