Bah, I don't know what you guys are complaining about It's been 18-25 here for the past month or so. The warmest it got in the summer was 28 which was nice and warm. At 35 it gets to be too hot to run.

AWC- where the fock do you live in Ontario, the farthest north possible? 35 to hot to run! I think I'd kill someone or myself if I lived in a cold climate like that all year.. same with like Alaska, 3 hours of light in winter, HELL NO DIE!

I need some HEAT.. >80 PLEASE.. for months.. Oregon is making me crazy and we are about to hit the grey season.. 40 and rainy for the next 6mos... AHHHHHHHHH.. I HAVE TO GET UP TO THE HILL SEVERAL TIMES OR I WILL FREAK$@^

GL up in the ice age...

Sounds nice! It gets really cold here.

I had to look up C to F conversion, lol... I was like 18 that sounds cold! :D

If it is Fahrenheit I'd have to move!

Lol you make me want to move, I'm tired of the cold here. Last winter it got down to -20, too cold.

Morning men. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I live winter is long with both cold and lots of snow. When your snow banks are taller than my Jeep that alot of snow.

Haha yeah, I figured I have some fun and play the numbers ;)

I was speaking in Celsius

it does get to -40 from time to time (believe it or not, -40C is the same temp as -40F .... 233.15 Kelvin)

Morning guys, lol I just woke up about an hour ago... fell asleep right after I got in from the shop last night. One more cup of coffee and I'm back...

Working on my second cup and starting to feel human again. Last night I finished 54 hours work in 4 days. Going to enjoy a lazy day around the house...

NAP TIME. yes sounds great.. I was up at 5am after a lame night of sleep to wake up and drive 2hours for arbitration. LAME. The plantiff is a lamer too and is going to lose due to lying. SUCKER.. I'm back now and beat from road time.. 4 hours today, meh.. BUT a new knife at the door waiting for me! Sweeeeeeeet!

Daniel, hope to get photos of the family.. minus one.. sniff sniff.. I took it upon myself to fancy the fat edc poon from months ago, not the recent one but the mcam one.. it was looking dandy.. I was proud of my profile work.. then I tried to step it up and f'd major.. it's now pretty much a kiridashi in the making :/

I need to practice on stock, not knives already nice :|

don't over work yourself! ;D

I hope to see some pics and sorry to hear about your poon.

Aldo's 1084 is a great steel to learn on. It works easily, has a simple treat, is tough and holds a really good edge. I think it may be the mot under rated steel besides S7.

Speaking of that I'm heat treating some S7 right now, it is nearing the end of it's soak time and about to get air quenched! :D

9pm, heat treating knives. My S7 one came out beautifully, no decarb! I think I like air hardening steels.

I just normalized a batch of knives and have them heating back up, they will be temp (1525F) in about 5 minutes... then soak and quench time. Back to the shop! :D
