I have been heat treating knives all day, 24 quenched! I'm going to let the kiln cool down then it's tempering time.
 
Just in time Daniel.Get all of these orders whittled down. I may be ordering an EDC with the MCAM handles and same blade shape as my bigcountry survival knife with a 4 1/2 inch to 5 inch blade. I would want it set up to carry horizontally on my belt.I think it would be a kick ass companion to my survival knife!

I can do that! I had to take a few days to work on the kiridashis I have had so many requests, they will help some towards building my shop.. I have tons of steel coming in for custom work next!

Horizontal carry, no problem! I set my sheaths up for teklok/belt loop usage and with a tek lok horizontal carry is as easy as moving a couple of screws. I'lll set it up that way with the knife of course. :D
 
Sounds good Daniel. I will get in touch when it is a go.I am thinking 3/16 thick and 1 1/2 inches wide. Momma is going to kill me but I like living on the edge.She keeps saying I love my bigcountry survival knife more than her..........lol

This was Thanksgiving day at Mt. Bachelor.. Opening day this year.. I wasn't there, but I'm going in 6days... be there just under a week.. OH YEAH! if it doesn't snow til then I'm going to be pissed! But chances are.. this week we get another lil' dumpy dump..

Cool video! My wife told me she thinks Purgatory (our local ski mountain) is open! I won't be going much but it will be fun! I like the terrain you guys have there, our terrain is more sheeple friendly. I have actually seen tourists try to have lunch at the picnic table IN the terrain park. Uhhh Ma'am did you notice your family is eating their lunch IN a halfpipe with jumps on each end of the table? They have tried to incorporate more natural terrain in the park which is cool, they also dug in the half pipe so it is open earlier in the season. I should take my board in and get it resurfaced, I do that about once a season.

I usually build a big kicker jump at the top of my driveway, the mountain behind my house is steep and we get about as much snow as the ski mountain. Back in the 70's they had a ski hill one mountain over positioned on the North side like I am.
 
It was another busy day with lots of caffeine involved this evening and I am about to fall out!!!

I have all the kiridashis double tempered and mega sharp. I also etched my signature on the 5160 ones; they are all cleaned up and ready for plum brown treatment. Tomorrow I hope to do the patina and start the wraps on the 5160 ones, hopefully I will etch the 52100 ones as well.

I hope to get pics or videos of the EDC's and the Havok tomorrow, they are all looking great and ready to go! I'm mailing all of them out pronto! I am very happy with everything, it has been a great last couple of weeks! :D
 
Almost bagged a large regular Sebenza from the exchange, but lisantica beat me by less than a minute. That girl has some ninja skills.

Bought another tranny for the Magnum. sometimes, overkill is just what you need. Stroker motor shredded the stock one (mercedes 5-speed), which was good for 550hp to the rear wheels. :)

N I N J A. :D

I don't know if blowing your tranny is a good thing but it sounds cool to me! I had a friend in high school that went through 3 or 4 axles on his 59 Impala, the motor was just nuts, he flipped it once at about 5 mph from the insane torque!

That Magnum is super cool...
 
Yeah Meadows and Bachelor pretty much kick arse... youtube.. I don't upload shiz.. just view stuff and save videos.. well used to save videos. haven't really done much in a couple years. I have a channel for my son.. but its private =x I'll perhaps upload a short one though for kicks for public. He's nuts. TERROR!

Morning all, 3 days of rain. Maybe it will run the big bucks out of the low areas for my deer
hunting friends.
 
Finally got my package today Daniel! Took them nearly two weeks to give me the notification paper that my package was at the post office reay for pickup. Better late than never though. All I can say about the knives is Wow. I havent been able to put them down. Great work Daniel and thanks again!
