Hey Daniel, this is why I stressed buying a filter for your lens...
You can see the chip next to the reflection. I didn't even drop anything! I guess someone moved one of my gear bags that I have three camera bodies with lenses on them in, and the top wasn't secured fully, so things shifted and one bumped the lens! A $15 filter is a lot cheaper than a $350.00 lens! I guess this is one vote for plastic bodied (or at least covered) modern cameras.
Also, a great dust blower for cameras, sesitive electronics, etc is one of those snot sucker squeeze bulbs for babies. You probably have one sitting around from Jade's things, so throw that in your kit too. Just be sure to wash out any snot debris first, lol! Be sure to store your camera with a lens on it, a lens seals dust out of the body better than the body cap, and then you don't have to worry about possibly getting dust in there everytime you use your camera. When blowing dust out, or changing lenses, try to do it with the opening facing down to prevent any falling in.
Well, I knew I wasn't going to get off easy having two days off in a row, first off when I got to work, normally our two biggest shipments are already in and received, but today only one had just gotten there when I did! The second one showed up 6 hours late!! On top of that, my morning cashier called in, so I have my closing cashier doing a split shift, which leaves me by myself for 3 hours to put things away, cashier, and do whatever else needs to be done. So, now I am just finishing my lunch break, 1.5 hours later than normal, and I have a shit-load of work to do. <sigh> back to work...
At least the beer will be that much sweeter when I get home.
