Hey Daniel, do you have a camera bag? I have an extra one now that I just picked up a new one, if you need one I'll send it along as well. Its a nice bag, but not exactly everything I personally need in a bag for all my gear.

Morning! I'm sore here but want to do some cutting!

No clue about plans for the day, so far I have been alternating between relaxing and looking at the new knife, lol.

Had a good day at the flea market yesterday. Also made it to the farmers market for the weeks supply of produce. I scored a couple more cameras at the flea market but I had no intentions of looking for them, I actually had tools and knives in mind, but sometimes you just can't pass up a good deal!

Minolta Hi-Matic 9 rangefinder for $5 (score!) and a Miranda F SLR for $10 that is so grubby I initially walked away, but knowing that Miranda cameras were decent stuff from the 50's & 60's I went back for a closer look. I opened it up and tested it out, everything seemed to work, but a bit slow. I got it home and did a thorough cleaning inside and the optics are spotless! The apeture blades were sluggish from oil (very bad) so I cleaned them up and things are fnctioning great! I will keep it all grubby on the outside and use it for just walking around in places I don't want to bring my expensive gear.

Kevin, that isn't patina, that's just crap on it! It does wash off, not easily though!

I will let you know for sure, I have a couple rolls of E-6 film that I'm gonna try and cross process to see what comes of it. All kinds of crazy things happen when you cross process film, color shifts, saturation boost, you just never know.

No, I don't really have the space for a dark room right now, though I do want to do it eventually. I am hoping to take a college photography class this spring so I can use the dark room there.

Cool!

I took video production in college, it was a tough class to get in to because we had so much fun gear to play with! early 1990's TV station stuff, man it was crazy complicated.

My Dad knew a guy in college that got a key to the darkroom made and used it for years, lol. At first he was a fake TA, lol then he moved up to fake professor! I think he used it for 30 years, the guy was crazy!

DO NOT WASH THAT THING !!! unless it is smelly:D It looks cool just the way it is.
