It isn't too bad, but then again I go through the belts on it... especially the low and high grit belts... and the in between ones. :D I find new 36 belts with the KMG at full tilt to do the trick. The CPM version is a lot easier to grind. I'm ready for some CPM-154. I do love how the D2 looks when it is polished.

Nothing much on the uploading, my current computer will no longer upload so I have to use my old slow one. It's slowwwwwww...



So... not much knife progress to post here but that's about to change! :D I had 5 days into the last framelock but ultimately tossed the whole thing. The scales just wanted to warp... I must have straightened them 10 times. It was a big gamble losing that much work so I'm just gonna keep on grinding!

Disc sander soon... I'll try to take pics of the build. It should be pretty easy, I hope!

Disc sander may make the whole process much easier on ya, dude.

Sometimes you just gotta abandon ship. I think the better you are, the less ships you abandon.

I agree, I'm always straightening Ti but that one won. It was still better than most folders I have held but that's not good enough!

Snowboarding was great! The terrain park was the most fun, they had all sorts of fun stuff set up.

I want a k55k, they are too cool.

Those bolster locks are interesting... I still want to make a slipjoint. I have a detent "lock" knife drawn up that you guys would like. I can get a detent to almost lock up too... they can be very strong.



Time to grind! (actually a little bit of grinding and a whole lot of finishing! :D )

Daniel, the reference comes from a movie that is about a man and his wife is brutally murdered just after moving into a new luxury home leaving him to raise his handicapped son by himself. His son is then kidnapped and the father travels across the world looking for the people who kidnapped him with the help from a mentally disabled woman.


It's called Finding Nemo.
