Hey guys!

Just got back into town to my mother in laws to pick up the boy. Had a blast this weekend! Been a long time since the wife and I just headed out without a plan. She booked the hotel online once we got into the city! Nice place, right in the middle of everything too.

Bobby, you didn't wake me up, but I was still in bed!

Had a wonderful 3 course dinner at my favorite french restaurant last night, french onion soup (strangely it wasn't labeled as just "onion soup" at a french place, lol), followed by grilled lamb with potatoes au gratin and a feta stuffed tomato, then a chocolate mousse and strawberries in a vinegarette. Was an amazing dinner!

Made it great!

Back to work today, ugh, I really didn't want to go back. Still trying for that whole independently wealthy thing, it's not working out.... On the upside though, my boss got me a chocolate cake! She had it here waiting for me! Kinda surprising, I guess she can be nice when she wants to be, lol!

I need a bigger coffee cup...and more espresso.

Going through the knife collection still/again... I'm finding that I really like mid range affordable knives over perfect expensive knives... I feel that if I use them the value drops too much on the expensive knives.. The mid range knives I don't care about, I use them and enjoy it and keep them...

I'm leaning towards Emersons now, can't believe it.. I love my mini horseman... (wave removed, and zero edge regrind), and looking at a CQC13 next...

The Benchmades I rotate I enjoy the most still.. And the Al Mar SERE 2k is sweeet. ( a bit heavy though)...

I'm looking to sell a custom and buy a Hinderer, as I really liked the user I had.. dumb to have sold..

And I'm coming back around to building up the 4-5in fixed blade collection... in different steels.. must have them all!

blah blah blah.. kids are hammering on me.. literally, lol.. DONT BUY KID TOOLS< THEY STILL HURT!

One is sick.. I'm still virus man... life in Feb is BS...

Happy Bday X, Sf was nice yesterday but saturday was kinda crappy.

Thinking of buying an inexpensive metal stamp set to do stuff for personal gifts to friends. My dad has one he did from like 15 years ago and I always wanted to try. My eyes are so tired from sewing last night. Note to self is get better lights while I sew small things together in my sweatshop.

Good morning! Stamp sets are cool, I have a HF set that works pretty well on softer stuff. Tandy stamps are awesome. The key is to have an anvil or something solid to stamp on.

I collect all sorts of odd stuff and one is handmade metal stamps. Most are made from engine valves, drill bits, rebar, etc... I should find them and get a pic. All are locally made by hand with files and jewelers saws, usually for silversmithing. They are probably one of the reasons I got into knives...

Sloth you tempt me to make some old school fixed blades again... I need to replenish my bar stock! .155" range...

It's tough, I have about 30 designs finalized... 10 of which I all want to do now. Runs not one-offs... I'm staying focused on folders/getting the shop more oriented for folders and getting the knives out there. One day at a time!

I'm thinking here pretty soon I want to do new keychain tools in thick Titanium... strike plate maybe. I also want to buy a big sheet of steel for folders, something stainless like Z-Finit or CPM-154. 1 sheet of Ti and one sheet of steel!
 
I wanna hear more about this PF Folder...
