Sup fellas.
Been pricing Garands today...I've been wanting a larger caliber gun with iron sights and don't want to rebuild any of my other rifles or build a new one (well, I've got enough gun projects going on right now, lol), and I am entirely enamored with the .30-'06 cartridge, so a Garand makes sense.
Work knife, been thinking about what type of design I want to go with. I've been carrying my Folts Minimalist iwb, and it's a great size plus well suited, but I want better steel. Not sure if I want to stick with a wharncliffe blade or go to a shallow belly drop point. Anyone have any thoughts?

Rolf, I like the 98's but I want to stay with '06 ammo. If I got one, I'd build a small ring '98 in either 6.5x55 or 257 Roberts. But, I already have a 1917 I've been tinkering with for several years that's in '06.
Morning fellas!
Man, had a huge drama fit from the boy last night, he got a splinter in his foot! This kid acted like his leg had just been severed! I mean he went into full panic mode and everything! Got a big part of it out but there is still a good size chunk deep in there that he refuses to even let us look at. I've been putting baking soda paste on it hoping it will work it out, but no luck yet.
Make it great dooods!

Xander I hear you, I have been dealing with some serious 3 year old issues today. It has been interesting. There was a total melt down earlier because I let the cat in and Jade wanted to let him in... and it was too late! lmao very fun while doing a large mail out. best of luck with the splinter! Sometimes warm salty water will help work one out. (like the paste)
We've been hustling all morning to get a lot of knives out and they are shipped!
