Every day I'm alive I'm makin' it great :)

Been huntin' houses lately. No real leads as of now and my eyes feel like they're burning out of my head!

Need some inspiration for the workshop. may doodle up some designs this afternoon and see how they turn out.

Whatcha guys working on? Kev I haven't seen much new on your IG!
 
Wilson, I am, but found out that the bit used for the router jig is actually custom made just for the seller. It looks like a 3/8" 4 flute, but just 1.25" long flutes and about a 4" long shank. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go that route or not, might just go with a standard bits and an x-y vise. I also need to source some wire guage bits too, I need to find some .099" and .101" bits, I think it's #37-#38. Know a good place to order single bits that doesn't charge a ton of shipping?

A new AR build? Barrel looks similar to your last one.

I haven't touched my guns lately! It's almost criminal lol. I took them all apart for fresh cleaning and oiling a few weeks ago, but they're mostly sitting idle.

This weekend will be some house related maintenance and maybe shop time. I think I need to get more steel! Down to two really thick bars of 1095.

Sounds cool Bobby! If that is Aldo's thick 1095 I hear some of it has Vanadium, very good stuff. I hear you on the steel stash, I just checked mine and it is down to almost nothing... I want to order a bunch just to have some stock.

I'm still rying to get caught up on knives spoken for, 5 went out yesterday and I have 3 more 99% ready. Wa handle... check! It came out killer.

I still need to get my mill set up! I haven't made it to town in a while... must buy wood for gantry! :D

Bobby, this one is a clone of my other, though this one is in .20 Practical. 24" stainless BHW barrel, but not the heavy bull profile.

Mill - check! I got it in place and on the stand today... major victory and wow is it nice!

I built this gantry to lift it (a basic stand to hold my pulley hoist) and it was pretty janky.... I think it barely made it! I took the weight off of the mill and set it on the stand and my gantry literally got 2" taller and about 3" narrower! wow! :eek:

This new mill is bad! It seems super smooth and tight with no play... the DRO is spectacular! I'm one step closer to folder making galore!
 
Daniel, if you ever need any HDPE, UHMW, VHMW, Acetal Delrin, or any other plastics for jigs and such, let me know. We go through 3 4'x4'x4' scrap bins a week here at work. They just send it out for recycling anyways.

Wow Xander! I was just looking at UHMW rod for making mallets... just let me know if you come across anything! I'll be sure to compensate. :D Your new job sounds cool by the way!

We carry rod but most scrap is sheet. I'm thinking of making an oak mallet with a plastic face. Btw, Tapplastics.com and you can see everything we carry.
