Liam, DUUUUUDE, that looks like a seriously fun gun! Have fun with it bro!
Merry New Year to all you DFKers !!!!
X, you are welcome to pick up that camera anytime, if you want to play around with it. I have an old Canon FT that you are welcome to toy around with too.

X - Yeah the first 4 were X ring, then I started to get sloppy. Rushed one (pulled it to the top right) and then couldn't calm down. It's going to take a while to get competitive again. Top local shooters are in the sub .3 range... the top shooters and top guns nationally are shooting 10 shots into one hole just slightly bigger than the pellet itself .197 in (5mm) with a 4.5mm round. 0.o - very different game than long range high-power.

Kevin - Ewww...don't lick lenses. :/

Hey Liam, I don't know what front sight base you have on that Avanti but I have an extra Lyman 17A sitting around for the last few years I'm not going to use. You're welcome to it if you want or can use it.

Just finishing up my night at work. Pretty slow now. Looking forward to getting home and getting liquored up! Got the next two days off!

Make it great and keep it safe! If you can't stay safe, stay out of trouble

Had to go back to work for one day. Weird.

Ordered a few bits for my AR. New BCG, Charging Handle and finger guard. They're very small upgrades but I wanted them! :D

Trigger is next for me, then barrel but I'll probably need a gunsmith to help me there.

You guys pumped for the new year?

D what will 2015 bring us?

Just got home from the casino, hit up the crab and lobster buffet! I'm stuffed!

Bobby, what did you upgrade to? What are you doing with your old bcg? Sounds like you should just build another upper. Stripped receivers are cheap, start around $40. Barrel isn't hard, just need a torque wrench and depending on the type of barrel nut determines what barrel nut wrench.

Picked up a Troy trigger guard, St. Croix Tactical NIBor BCG, BCM Gunfighter mod4. I should probably put cash aside for a Geissele then.

My buddy is building his first gun, so he asked me for my spare parts. He's laid claim to them.

ok, I'm sober now.
I just got a Red K9 Dozier tanto. You all need one Dozier. You also, Daniel!
You all have a great weekend!!
PEACE!!!

Personally, I'm going to go for a Rock River trigger. Damn good triggers for the money. My dad did the ALG ACT trigger in his 6.8 rifle. He still has a milspec in his 556. I'm also considering the CMC trigger, it's a drop in and pretty good from what I have read. Less money than the Geissele as well. Geisseles are good, but there are many others up there for less money I think. Except for Jard triggers, avoid those. They have issues with the AR15 FCG.
