Thanks! My wife Sara has always made jewelry and I eventually wound up working with her... this led to a job running some stands at the Vendors Plaza in St.Thomas, USVI. We sold lots of Sterling Silver jewelry and when we moved back to the mainland we opened a small mall kiosk selling jewelry... then moved up here to Durango, CO and did the rock and gem/jewelry show circuit for a while. We ran a local artists show that is pretty big now. I gained quite a lot of interest in cutting stones/geology and Sara made loads of wire and chain mail jewelry.
Sara kept on making jewelry while I got heavily into cutting stones and prospecting. I found and sold many tons of rock that is now cut into jewelry! I was also cutting stones part time and selling most locally as we have a big jewelry scene... sold lots of Turquoise to my local buddies in New Mexico too.
Then I saw this knife with stone handles..![]()
Everything happens for a reason and I can see why you so good at it!
If you noticed I'm in LA Jewelry District and we play with rocks too, just different type of rocks!
