Thanks! My wife Sara has always made jewelry and I eventually wound up working with her... this led to a job running some stands at the Vendors Plaza in St.Thomas, USVI. We sold lots of Sterling Silver jewelry and when we moved back to the mainland we opened a small mall kiosk selling jewelry... then moved up here to Durango, CO and did the rock and gem/jewelry show circuit for a while. We ran a local artists show that is pretty big now. I gained quite a lot of interest in cutting stones/geology and Sara made loads of wire and chain mail jewelry.

Sara kept on making jewelry while I got heavily into cutting stones and prospecting. I found and sold many tons of rock that is now cut into jewelry! I was also cutting stones part time and selling most locally as we have a big jewelry scene... sold lots of Turquoise to my local buddies in New Mexico too.

Then I saw this knife with stone handles.. :D

Everything happens for a reason and I can see why you so good at it!

If you noticed I'm in LA Jewelry District and we play with rocks too, just different type of rocks! ;):D

Daniel! I'm on a kwkn folder kick!! CRKT Shizuka and a Burnley/Boker kwkn folder. Thanks, Ben!
Keith Richards can still kick-it!!

What's up fellas work kicked my ass today, alot going on. They did a compensation study and found out after the study said my staff was under paid the district decided they could only fund part of the recommendation and my guys didn't make the cut. I just got done talking to HR administration and it was like pounding my head against the wall!! So frustrating I have some that are going on 5 years with no raises and alot of empty promises.
But on another note I have been able to finish a few knives which has been awesome. I posted one in the custom section and if Daniel don't mind I will post here to get your guys thoughts but don't want to step on any toes D.

I'm still looking for pics of the mill and forge Daniel! I'm thinking about building a small horizontal forge to play with, I just need to order some ceramic blanket and satanite.

Thanks so much! I just got in from making a clip for it! it is in pocket right now.

The clip was a milestone too, I'm really glad it did not have one because now bent clips are on like donkey kong! I recently got my acetylene torch going and it was finally enough heat to bend one! I have gone through 4 torches and kept on snapping clips. This rocks!

I hope Daniel duz not get the Emerson fever.

The CQC-7 happens to be my grail Emerson and this one is in my very favorite configuration too! I am one lucky guy,

But you know, I might need to buy an mini A-100 as a umm.. companion knife. It's probably necessary. :D

The Burnley is too cool, that is awesome! man this place rocks!

Goood mornin' y'all!
Rolf, I gave the ice scraper to my Mom. She has bad hands and can't hold on to a traditional style ice scraper very well anymore. Thanks again brother, I feel good about my Mom having it on hand if she needs it.
D, Thank the long haired hippie rocker gods for stone handled knives!

Rolf, You're welcome! Back to tanto kick?!! :D And you know what's my next DFK! ;)

D, your clip is waaaay better I'm a fan of Emerson but never warm up on their clips tho. I just know you gonna have to put your on! :D

Good move, brother Kevin. Say hi to Mom.
Daniel Clip and CQC7 pic please.
Ben- I hear there will be a DF FAT tanto folder! FAT...
Hi DFerz.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Good morning guys!

Xander - that patina was done with a solution of liver of sulfur and water. The patina will vary depending on the finish, a rougher finish will generally go darker.
