Oh, no Rolf! I have a PM2! I just meant a DFK folder. I think lots of us are in that boat though :)

Interesting chain of events.

Made sausage and quinoa for myself while wife's in Shanghai.

Eating Quinoa.

Boyscouts arrive, start decimating my doorbell.

My reactive adopted dog starts going bonkers.

I am surprised; inhale vast quantities of my mouthfull of quinoa.

Choke for awhile.

Eventually wash it away with some tea.


My takeaway is that Boyscouts as Roofers in this area wanting to check for hail damage, my dog can be an a-hole, and that this never happens when I eat steak.

Also I keep blowing my nose and finding quinoa.

btw, I started using my DF S.S.I.K.! This knife cuts like crazy!! You all need a Ti/Carbide DF knife!!

Bobby that is hilarious! Quinoa is good stuff but not like that!!!

I'm going to release the Kwaiken soon! They are next after the Mega RF2! I need to set up my mil vise and get going as soon as I finish up the Kamisori Utility I am working on.

We got firs on this side of the Cascades.. Pines are high desert trees or dry environments.. jeez...

Sup fellas.

So there's a dove that has built a nest on a short protected eve of my neighbor's house, they have chick's right now, it's only across my narrow driveway from my front porch. Today when I got home momma came back and settled in, so I grabbed my longest lens, added a 2x teleconverter, mounted it on the tripod and took a few shots. This 12 year old 10.2mp digital still amazes me sometimes!

JK, though I do hate pigeons.. They are huge and eat all our black sunflower seed.. but I wouldn't blast one.. now if it were a cat eating the seed, LOOK OUT PUSSY! O_O

Nope, out of season. Though I have been seeing more and more eurasian doves around and there is no limit or season on them! I really have been wanting to take some with a slingshot, but I really need a new style for shooting with gold flat bands for better speed. 25 yards is a bit far for shooting 1/4" steel ammo.

For now I will stick to shooting them with the camera!

I've been grabbing some scraps of various plastics from work, going to make myself a bunch of different styles of bench blocks for gun smithing and such. I just have to figure out how I'm going to cut V-grooves in the stuff for holding round parts. Seems just little things like that have been all I have time for in the shop lately.
