I did this

and we had few drop this morning! :D

ohh i want to see pictures of the sling shot...i'll trade ya a handmade gun pouch for one lol or a tactical grocery bag

didn't realize how corrosive resistance 154cm is, gave a friend some industry Fecl3 that I conjured up and even being a very low pH and decent concentration. 15 min does nothing to this benchmade blade. I might have to give him the special one I made for myself.

Today is my Friday so I hope everyone stays safe. BTW just learned about a car I would get if money grew on trees. Look up a Tango, its ugly and small but boy it can go

Here's the little CC sized shooter...

The design is not mine, I copied it from a popular model sold by a Canadian maker, he did give me permission to copy it though. His are much nicer made though, lol! This was just a scrap of 1/4" HDPE. It's a fun little shooter! Shooting a pfs style (pickle fork shooter) requires a different technique than a standard fork type, but can be very accurate!

I forgot to drill a lanyard hole in it too. The maker also does this design as a knuck, I might just try that! Big 1" hole right in the middle.

Anyways, back to work!

Nice work Xander!

Who is the maker... I did some research an there are some cool slingshots out there! I should make run of CC slingshots in Titanium... I know a guy who knows slingshots too! ;)

MetroGradeGear.com is the maker. He has some awesome designs, he's also an industrial designer by training. I just picked up a bunch more HDPE to try out some different credit card designs. If I get one I really like, I might laminate some Ti and CF with something else too.

That is good to hear that you did not try the head spin break dance move while wearing the kilt! would not be pretty! :D
X, that is pretty cool. I can see myself getting in trouble at work with one of those. haha

lmao wait that wasn't the chat thread!

There's no birthday party for me here!

Cool stuff X! I'm going to check out his work. A laminated one sounds cool!

FBC bust that head spin! As kids we would bring cardboard to school and hold break dancing contests in the bathroom. That was back when RUN/DMC was about the most gangster rap out there! :D

I'm closer to getting my music online... started a spotify account!

A bear has been trying to get into our 300-400 pound trash bin, he ripped it open the other day (just ripped the boards right off!) and literally covered my yard in trash. Now he goes and rolls it trying to figure out how to get in... we reinforced the front so he just rolls it to the back! I went out and yelled at him... he just stood there at the trash bin and bared his teeth at me! He is a light brown and I thought he was a Grizzly the first time I saw him... this bear must be 600 pounds and can run about 40 mph from a dead stop uphill... no joke! So... the question is... Naginata? I need to get down to the shop. :D

Daniel! Some folk up here on the ridge use a metal bear-proof trash can. They're not cheap but it's the last one yull need to get.
Make the Naginata anyway.

Also, I've heard of people hanging an aerosol can of paint of hairspray or something near their trash, the bears bite pretty much everything near when they think it's food, get a mouth and face full of that stuff and don't ever come back. Don't know how well it works, but a spray paint can with a little bacon grease on it would do the trick I bet.

Well, I hope the bad news is over, the wifes cousin got shot in the face last night. He's alive and doing well, got super lucky, but a second person was shot and died. Attempted robbery at 4:00 in the afternoon right on the sidewalk of a busy street.

Enough is enough!

Good idea, we have to have on the curb like that here. (I'd just use that but my "curb" happens to be 3 miles away :D ) We are looking for a new place that is still out in the country but without such a commute to the trash, mail, etc.

But yep, I bet I need at least one naginata.

Daniel, bacon balls ...... see bear....throw bacon balls....run to shop. It is important to save enough bacon balls for the return journey.:D
X, This heat has got the vatos loco! Glad you wifes cuz is ok.

I gave the wrong address for the slingshot maker earlier, it's metrogradegoods.com. I got some BB's today and had a blast shooting that little thing again today! The BB's still puncture flat cardboard at 35 feet with little drop in its trajectory! Great fun! I can't wait to get some proper bands for it, uning large office rubber bands now and they work well but aren't that fast.

Made little dude his very own sling shot today! He is so excited about it too! It's his first big responsibility toy, it's set up for shooting BB'S as well, which should be safe enough for him and me, lol!

He likes his name on it too!
