I do hope Colt can stick it out... I think American based manufacturing is going to come back, especially for high end items. People are finally getting tired of cheap junk!

hmm stumbled on a new artist on NPR, Leon Bridges on the first listen. Got that soulful sound and very easy listening i think. I will wait for the next blue ultralights backpackers or for the blue kwaiken since rolf is designated the red diety![]()

When Colt lost the military contract as the sole supplier for the M4 a few years ago they also added accounting issues on top of it. Revised annual reports, missed deadlines for annual reports, etc. They were trying to outrun their creditors and finally was no longer able to. Ch11 is discouraging, something like less than 10% are successful restructuring. Sciens Corp will be taking ownership of Colt assests, but they will operate as normal and wages will be unaffected for most workers.
On my lunch break, spaghetti and sour dough bread. Thumbing through the Harbor Freight flier that just showed up in the mail.
