Fake Buck Vantage Pro?

I like the new look. Sets it apart from the other Vantages.

I just might have to pick one up.

I can do without smart ass remarks. If the shoe fits wear it, if not it dont apply to you. I returned a pro to buck because the liner lock was messed up and kept sticking. It was returned to me with a note saying it was not a buck made knife. It was the same one in question. So thats saying its a fake, counterfeit etc whatever you wanna call it. Thats why i stated what i did post #2

Any photos of the knife in question? I've not seen you post about it. Might be helpful for the rest of us as I've not seen that model posted in the counterfeit/fake thread nor have I seen any offered on the bay.

This occurred several months before i became a forum member. Unfortunately i do not still have the knife. Wish i did

So are they doing the 342 like this as well? I wish bucks site was more up to date. They don't even list the pro or avid anymore, just the select.

I hope they keep most the Buck Vantage variants: large, small, 420, S30V, Sandvik, Paperstone, G10 etc...so many good ingredients. Not to mention the perfect blade geometry and form factor for EDC (for my uses).

Becoming a Crucible metallurgy fan...30v works fantastic for daily cutting tasks. Maybe I'll also get a Sandvik on this next round; my other favorite steel (thanks Mora).

Coming to EDC folders from the fixed Bushcraft knife side, I wrote Buck off as "your Dad's outdated knife" but not anymore.

Obviously not because that one is real.

Off topic but I just held the vantage for the first time at a sport chalet and I almost bought it but the sales person kept ignoring me glad I didn't now i will order that rosewood one it's kinda fancy

Obviously..... It was not as you wrote. Apparently you can't write too well.

If you would go back and read you would see it... Why dont you get off my back? Thats pretty funny a guy telling me how to read and write my own language that cant even read and write it him self without translation. Stuff like this is why im about to leave the forums. More good ppl here than bad, but the annoying ones are overbearing at times.

The biggest tell on a fake that I've noticed is always the pivot and blade screws-they almost always are different, far different design from originals. Looks like two good Pros to me.

I second that (without any translation)

Must I remind you again that folks from your neck of the woods aren't supposed to have a sense of humor. Scheeeeeech. I can see that my work on you isn't done. Uh uh, nope, not by a far piece. You made me laugh out loud again today. What next? Cute little brown birds sitting on rare open 300 series Buck knives stuck into trees!

Some times, in a situation like this it helps to take a step back, take a breath and take a break. Works for me anyways.
