Fake PM2

I read a thread a few weeks/months ago where someone bought a PM2 from cabelas or a store like that, he received a fake. Turned out that someone had bought it previously, kept the real thing but replaced it with a fake and them retuned it. The store didn't notice the swap and then sold the fake to another customer. I wonder if that is what's happened here.

I had done my research before ordering the PM2 and I knew what to look for in regards to forgeries. The thing I wonder is how many of these are getting sent out and the buyer has no clue.

That Para2..looks as fake as a $3 bill..

I'm not trying to beat you down even more but I often wonder why people start these threads after the the fact? A lot of headache/heartburn could be saved if people would simply ask where to buy first before buying..

Here's a real deal Para2 for $40 cheaper from one of the best knife dealers in the US..the same fake model you got..

Obviously seeing one in person would be the best, but they're out of stock in the store, so it's not that simple. The normal price is $190, but Spydercos are on sale this week at Cabelas. And I think most people would agree that a large retailer like Cabelas isn't known for selling forgeries.
