Under magnification, the Strider logo on the picture has STRIDER above and BUCK below. IF Buck didn't make it, THAT'S fraud.

And you beat me to it. In any event I think it is safe to say that the prefered course of action is just to make an inquiry with a Buck representative and let them deal with it.

Accept for the tigerstripe, everything else is right.

Sheath is right, markings are right, on both sides of the knife.

Never seen one in tigerstrip though????

Based on his other sales it now appears to me that it's just a clone. The guy has cloned Gerbers, CRKT's, MOD's and others for sale also but does not mention the Maker. The real Maker's name appears on each knife however.

I say its a fake.

It just dosnt look the same as the one i had. Iv never seen them with stipes and the logo is stamped on mine.

The stipes dont even look like strider stipes on that knife any way and the logo looks etched to me not stamped. it could just be the photo but the whole thing just looks fishy.

I thought that even though he doesnt say its either a Strider or Buck, he's still basically calling it that since the picture shows clearly the logo.... its looks fishy to me. But either Buck or Strider have the last word I guess.
