Fall Bush Bash 2011. Camping/Bushcraft Event. October 14-16. Sequoia NF, California.

Sorry I missed it; looked great!

I just finished most of a week backpacking in the Ruby Mtns of north/central Nevada, then about a week on the Pacific Crest Trail from Sonora Pass to Ebbetts Pass, followed by a week of chukar/quail hunting in the northwest corner of NV (both sides of the Black Rock Desert). Eventually I had to come home and get back to work!

I will try to re-join the festivities in the Spring. I finally bought a new tarp to replace the one in the rain photo. It was trashed on a river in Western AK when the winds got severe.

Thanks for the photos!

David Im sure i speak for everyone when i say that it would be great to have you join us on the camping trip.. That tarp was a life saver that first trip with the rain.. I sure hope to see you again out there Dave.

Sasha,

Thanks, I'll try to get there next time.

If you ever want to take that CZ bunny hunting some time, we have a HUGE supply of black-tailed jackrabbits in my area because of all the agriculture. No license needed to hunt them, even for non-resident hunters. There are lots of young, well-fed rabbits and my geezer buddy Niels likes to make stew out of them.

Well we had some good times

Nice shots Sasha!

That event would not have been good for my weight---but the photos indicate that you are doing well on fitness.

hey dave i know what you mean with all the good food out there its hard not to try a little of each and end up eating way too much. As for fitness i would be doing much better when i lose about 30lb lol...
