Got into it with my boss a few days ago. Let him know exactly how I felt. Paid off, I got a raise. Not a big raise, but hey, a raise.

My boss can't give out raises, the higher ups do. But at least he went and talked to them on my behalf. He's still an ass hat, imho. Still looking for another job though, haha. My fil is supposed to talk to a friend of his that's in the house of representatives about a state job. Crossing my fingers on that one.

Man I hope I get one. No idea what I'd be doing, but it would pay good no matter what it is. You'd laugh if you knew what my hourly rate is, especially after wasting 17 years at that place.
