Fallkniven F1, ESEE RC-3, ESEE Izula, Griptilian

So I bought the Izula, and I am very pleased with it.

What do you guys think about using it as my main survival knife?

I agree with Dag-nabit. If you're going to survive a night in the wild, the best knife is the one you have on you. That said, I wouldn't want to go "off the grid" with only an Izula.

I like mine and carry it daily but I live in my house and don't go into the field w/o a larger knife - YMMV though. :)
 
I just can't see an Izula as my only pack knife. I rarely carry a pack knife that is smaller than 4 inches. You could go with a folding saw and the izula, and you could make the izula work for you know problem, but it would not be my first choice. Are you somehow concerned with length?
